“Interpretation of a traditional folk song that originates from south-west Wallachia, Czech Republic. Done by Valašský soubor písní a tanců Rusava, based in Bystřice pod Hostýnem, Czech Republic.” 

Its always interesting to see how a groups movements changes as we move about geographically. Hopefully I get to experience a performance like this one live.

Guláš | A traditional Czech cuisine that to me is reminescint of the Spanish dish Mole. Both dishes include thoroughly marinated meat and make for hearty meals.

I was excited to try this dish on my study abroad to Prague. Being that it was canceled, it will have to wait for another time.

Here we have a the traditional coffee table piece of many Mexican and Mexican American households, Pan Dulce. My personal favorite is the flakey sugar coated bread in the shape of a heart.
