Andrew Kreiss Headcanons

- Half-French, half-German. His mother taught him a few words in German, but he’s not entirely fluent. He still likes to practice as often as he can, through either writing diary entries in German or reading books in the language and trying to translate them in his head.

- He enjoys sketching in his spare time. He’s filled a few sketchbooks over the years, mostly of flowers, stray animals, and some strangers whose faces he could draw from memory. When he was younger, he had dreams of perhaps becoming an artist someday, but it didn’t take very long for him to abandon the idea.

- Swears very often, despite how soft-spoken and quiet his voice is. It’s not exactly uncommon to hear him mumble a small fuck under his breath if something starts to go wrong or if he accidentally hurts himself in some way.

- He has a bit of a wonky smile, and he looks much older than he actually is. He also has plenty of scars across his body, mostly from childhood, and he has one scar over his eye that he keeps hidden beneath his bangs, which is partly why he decided to grow his hair out. He doesn’t enjoy looking at his body, and will try to avoid looking at his reflection any way that he can, especially if he’s getting undressed or about to bathe.

- He suffers from very vivid nightmares, and even just looking at a particularly bright light could trigger some unpleasant childhood memories. Once he wakes up, it’s nearly impossible for him to fall back asleep, which just worsens his already horrid sleep schedule. After a long streak of sleepless nights, he’ll eventually just pass out on his bed and sleep like the dead for hours upon hours. Nothing and nobody can wake him up when he’s in that coma-like state.

- (Bonus Demidrew) Demi usually hums or sings to herself. Andrew really likes to listen to the sound of her voice, and would sometimes stand nearby whenever she started quietly singing just so he could hear her. Some of his favorite moments with her are when he gets to put his head on her lap or her chest while she hums and strokes his hair. He finds it very soothing, and it’s one of the rare instances one would see him smile.
