Well first of all I miss you and I love you! Okay. Secondly. I love Deadshot then again who doesn't love Deadshot? And you write amazingly and giving Brock a bro, even if she breaks his nose is fucking awesome I love it so much. I love your muse, because she's absolutely fantastic and the perfect kind of woman who's strong and she certainly doesn't tolerate Rumlow's shit so that's always good. You're wonderful! I love writing with all your blogs always!

Because maybe it's easier to just show my gratitude when I hit a milestone on the post count than follower count....

You should all know that I love you all equally and will forever be grateful to all my wonderful partners who keep up with my slowness and whatever I throw at you - thank you all! You are all the reason to why this blog still exists and will probably never leave ;*

And I'm bad at choosing favourites and all that and I wish I could just love you all forever and always - you all deserve all the love and don't ever think otherwise, because you are all awesome, wonderful, lovely people!!! :*

Death: My character's reaction to your character dying.

The shot rang off with a loud bang that was followed by pure silence. Every move after that seemed like horrible slow motion. Zoe’s body jerked back and she collapsed towards the ground. Rumlow turned back and a few more bangs followed as he took out the men that were coming in their direction. When silence was finally there for good Brock turned back to Zoe and leaned over her body. He tried to press a hand over the wound and a slight shake of his head as he remained calm. HIs tongue darting across his lips as he held his hand over her body and applied as much pressure as he could — although that only made her cry out followed by some unfortunate gurgling and choking on blood. "Oh, — No you can’t do this. You’re only dyin’ when I have to put one in ya— that was the deal."He pressed harder and then drew back enough to dig out his phone calling HQ for instant medical attention as he held hard against the bullet wound in her chest. But before he could even finish the call she was quiet — silent and not moving. Her eyes glazed over and she looked lifeless and she was. "Son of a bitch!" He shouted as he stood coursing blood covered fingers over his head and through his hair as he turned away. If there was anyone left alive to take out he’d be unloading a clip into them right now — it would feel fucking amazing. Sucking in a breath he turned back to her. She’d gotten under his skin, brought some kind of caring emotion out of him and just like that she was gone. She couldn’t do that, who the hell did she think she was? He turned rubbing his blood stained again against his mouth before he began to walk— he wasn’t sure where he was going but he was sure of one thing.Some people were going to die tonight.

"FitzSimmons?" Zoe asked as she entered the lab and looked around. Right now no one seemed to be around, but suddenly a young woman appeared from behind the table.

Looking up when she saw that she had not heard wrong Jemma smiled at the stranger."Hello," she greeted friendly and smiled."I'm agent Jemma Simmons, biochem." she walked up to the other and shook her hand."Fitz is out right now, he'll be back soon." Jemma continued quickly before turning around and went back to under the table trying to find the flask she had lost.

Zoe cleared her throat slightly confused."I'm agent Zoe Lawton - I'm here to look at your newest weapons." she announced. Jemma popped up from the table again and looked with wide eyes at the other."Oh right.... Of course... That was today... Now?" she looked around nervously. Fitz was normally the one to present the weapons as he was the creator and generally worked better with weapons. She was just there for support and smiles.

"Yes, now agent Simmons." the other repeated and Jemma realised that there was nothing else to do than to show the other the weapons.

"This one.... It's unnamed...." she carefully picked up the small gun. It was heavier than it looked like and she carefully flipped it in her hands."It's heavy, but it'll help stabilize the shot when you pull the trigger." she explained. She knew anything about the weapons, but she would have preferred having Fitz by her side. They were a team after all."The bullet is heavier than normal - it's not meant for combat, but when you need a quick escape as it creates big enough for you to crawl through." she said and handed the gun to the other agent who weighted the gun in her hands."It might be too heavy to carry around - especially if the only thing it does is to create an escape." was the only comment she gave.

Jemma continued to show the other weapons and got only few comments on them. She went through them all, telling about every one and all. Finally they were down to two.

Picking up the smallest gun she hesitated. It was still a prototype and it was a bit loose. Fearfully she did her best not to point it at the other. Zoe noticed the other's careful movements and looked curiously. Maybe this was actually worth her time.

"The SPIKER" Jemma introduced the gun."It allows you to send small bullets through any kind of material - even bulletproof clothing." she told finally receiving a satisfying reaction."The small bullet will, however, not do much harm - only sting.... It'll create a small electroshock stunning the enemy." she explained and tried to ignore the look on the other's face."That way you're able to either capture the enemy or..." her voice faded away and hoped that the other understood the rest of the unspoken sentence.

Zoe nodded and held out her hand in order to inspect the weapon herself. Carefully Jemma started to hand the weapon, but somehow it slipped and she heard the small 'click' indicating that the trigger had been pulled.

Confused she looked around trying to locate where the bullet had hit before she saw Zoe fall to the ground."Agent Lawton!" Jemma rushed to the other's side and saw her body twitching by the small electroshock. At least it works, Jemma thought before shaking her head. That was not something she should think about right now. Sighing there was not really anything she could do to help the other. She could try remove the bullet, but it was small and with the other's twitching body it would be dangerous to even try remove it. The weapon was simply genius, she sent Fitz a proud thought while kneeling beside the other agent.

"I'm very sorry about that.... I should have warned you, agent Lawton" Jemma apologised while removing the bullet from the other's arm. Zoe had finally been able to take control over her body and immediately demanded Jemma to remove the bullet as it was still sending shocks through her arm."It's quite a weapon." Zoe studied the small harmless gun from across the table while waiting for Jemma to remove the bullet."I'll be sure to tell the other's about that one." she nodded slowly making a mental note about the gun. If anyone would question the weapon she would even be able to tell how it worked based on firsthand experiences.

At his serious tone, the grin she wore fell from her face, and she looked him over. Zoe gave him a small concerned frown. “What’s going on Brock? You okay?”

  He took in a breath and pressed his lips together before he looked over towards Zoe with a very serious gaze upon his features. "We're friends right? Closet I've ever been to a person, and that's honest truth -- Close friends right?"
