Dear Brea
This here is the third and final part of your Secret Santa gifts. (I wasn't gonna give all of them at 6 am my time) Seeing as we're part of this massive writing group, I thought it'd be appropriate to write you something. I can't say this is going to reach 500 words, and I'm typing now with no idea where I'm going with this, so we'll see how this goes.
Hi, my name is mushpot, beware the mush. I think you're a fantastic writer. I read some of your Matthew stuff briefly in 1.0, and again in 2.0, and I have always been impressed by your writing prowress. Okay, so, sometimes I sit here in silent terror of Rhi, because damn that lady gives me the creeps. But she's also powerful and fascinating to read, and the levels of nuance you put in her is great. I loved the religion based solo you did in season two, it was equal parts terrifyingly calculating and monstrous, as well as incredibly humanising and emotional. And it's scary (in a good way) when you can get both of those into one piece, because at the end it's like I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M SUPPOSED FEEL.
So, unlike Peter Van Houten in The Fault in Our Stars, not only are you a great writer, but you also have a great personality. (If the reference is lost on you I'm sorry, but I hope the compliment isn't.) Which is awesome. It's so much fun to see you pop into the gc (even though ew to time zones meaning we're not in at the same time often.) You've got engaging perspectives on more serious topics and character analysis and you're pretty funny too. I don't even need to struggle to find proof of that, just flick back a bit in group chat.
You are a wonderful and fantastic member and a talented writer and it's so cool to have you around and to watch you write Rhi.
And those are my words. I hope you liked them, once again, happy Holidays, and a wonderful new year.
I can't think of a serious way to sign off. So peace out (before I lose my pluck)
Immo
