I read phantasmagoria after seeing people talk about it in the most recent Kyojuro snippet you posted and I just wanted to say that no fic has ever made me full on sob while reading it and I’ve read an ungodly amount of fanfiction.

my mom literally came into my room because she heard me crying so hard while reading part 3 that’s how hard I was crying. Amazing work peach phantasmagoria will be living in my head rent free forever!

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to adequately communicate how wild it is/how much it means to me that you all find my writing emotional enough to cry to. Like!!! It doesn’t feel real, I swear.

Phantasmagoria was so deeply personal and you all have consistently been so kind about it (and so many of you have sent asks saying it’s your favorite fic!! Which blows my mind!!).

I don't mean to be rude (and I really like your Undertale stuff!) but can you explain what kin is? I... don't really get it.

from what i’ve seen, there is two different types of kin. there is coping kin, where your kin is a voluntary choice, something to help you cope with stressful situations or mental illnesses. and then there’s spiritual kin, when your kin is involuntary. spiritual kin believe that they were these people/concepts/things in past lives. that they have been reincarnated into their current situation. that’s what i am. 

an example. i’m charakin. i am ( questioning ) having bpd, but at the least, i have several bpd traits. if i were coping kin, i would have chosen to be kin with chara. i would use their experiences to deal with my own, but i wouldn’t believe that i had ever been them.

as spiritual kin, i had no choice in being kin with chara. i was them in a past life, whether i like it or not. i have memories of being them.
