1. "I think we’re almost the same, but as usual my Icarus Interlude gets no love," I have a lot of love for Icarus Interlude but there are just other songs out of ten that I love better, I also really love Rainberry and Too Much (which isn't a popular opinion) and Fingers. I tell myself I don't love Let Me but it's a song that despite its lyrics, which I find kinda banal, that really pulls me in. I stand by the assertion that could have been a big hit for him if he'd shown it more love. Imprint

2. is the song I'm the most ambivalent about. There's something I love about it especially the chorus but also things I don't. I don't really mind the the minimal production on a lot of the songs because I tend to the think the melodies and Zayn's voice are the big strengths even if I get why others hate it but there are some songs where I think that minimalism hurts and this is one of those songs.

Huh, and it’s the minimalism on Imprint that I love, the way it starts with Zayn’s voice and then the staccato piano chords come in right after giving it a jazzy feel. But everything hits different people different. I’m still bemused by how one of the weakest songs, imo, from Fine Line is its biggest hit.

If Zayn had released NCNL as a stand alone single, wouldn’t that have been better? And Sour Diesel too? 🧐

NCNL would have been better as a stand alone but I kind of like sour diesel in the album. Fun fact about Sour diesel is that quite a lot of celebs posted about the it praising it.

Really? I didn’t know that. SD sort of seems out of place, but I haven’t really thought about why I think that. I skip it sometimes.

Interlude depends on my mood I do like it though but my list is the songs I can pretty much play in any mood.

Yeah, I get it that you have skips. I start with Imprint since I know the album so well. I rarely listen to the first four songs any more, but II is never a skip for me.
