Rin is the leader of a successful high school boy group "Samezuka" who performs in different high school festivals in their prefecture. Rin's group wins almost all high school boy group competitions and qualifies them to perform in national celebrations. But for every winner, there's always a good rival. . Led by Sousuke, the group "Weishu" from another high school in the district is usually the close second. They also won several boy group competitions, which sparks an inevitable rivalry between the two groups, particularly the two leaders. (Their members can vouch that Rin and Sousuke usually fight backstage and no one knows who started it.) . High school graduation happened, and the two groups have to disband due to the members' different priorities. But the idol scouts of a big agency wanted to form a new and refreshing group that would defy all other standards of idol groups in Japan. . Due to their talents, Rin and Sousuke get scouted, but not as rivals this time. They have to work together in one boy group: eat, drink, rehearse, and even sleep together. . Can they reconcile their differences? As the two rivals cross paths once again, they are forced to become friends.
