hi!!! i was wondering what tubbo's execution was like in the non-atol timeline, since we didn't really see it play out how it was 'supposed to' there. and what do his scars from it look like?

The execution, in the non AToL timeline, happens very much like in canon though Tubbo is aware from the beginning of what is going to happen(and so is Quackity who is trying the entire time to convince Schlatt to not go through with it). And Techno does not have the excuse of peer pressure because he very much does not care to resist as he does not care for Tubbo(at least not like he does in AToL after he realizes his family cares about him). It's not carried through with a firework, as that would be straight up a death sentence in a realistic universe) but with a barbed arrow shot at the base of his neck, and Tubbo survives it only because Techno did not aim to a spot where it would rip out anything major if pulled out and also did not fully charge is crossbow to avoid the bolt from going straight through.

So Shattered!Verse canon Tubbo has an uneven sided star shaped scar at the base of his neck, that fucked up with his voice some. (Though he still has a burn on the right side of his face but that comes from the explosion of L'Manberg) Thank you for your question ^^

hi hello :D i just remembered that your ask box existed, and i’ve had some little curiosities on my mind for a while, so i figured i’d stop by and ask them here :] 

so the topic that’s been on my mind recently has been the sky gods and their games.

obviously it's been established that the gods’ games are inspired from wilbur’s challenge videos, like the lava rising challenge, him being forced to perpetually drown that one time, the moles, etc, etc. but is mcc also one of their games? like. was that game with parkour and archery that charlie noticed a reference to mcc or was it just a random archery game? bc it’d make a lot of sense if mcc Was a Game there, considering scott is one of the sky gods and all, but i just wanted to make sure ^_^

follow-up to if mcc is in their Games, what is it like? like how are teams assigned? is there an equivalent of a live audience at all (other than the sky gods)? is there a hall of fame, and if so what’s it like? do they still win in teams, and if so how does that work, like, do the winning teams just get split up after and sent to other Games afterwards or something? and was soot a part of those games too, or was he only in the challenge video ones in this universe?

more of a general question about the Games, but how many people are kidnapped a year(?) to become playthings in it? and what's the kidnapping process like? do they just Wake Up there kinda like how the ccs do when they're sent here by the gods (which would open some very interesting implications)? and does everyone get kidnapped at once, or gradually over time?

which Game, in your opinion, do you think would be the worst one to have to play?

also pertaining to the Games, how accurate to the real thing was las nevadas' version of the lava rising game, like, appearance-wise? and how Was it a thing, like, did quackity use illusion runes to make the fake lava, and if so, are they any different from the ones you’d put on a person, or was it something else that did that illusion? and i know people wouldn't actually Die if they lost, but would there be any other consequences they'd have to face for losing? like enál choosing to torment them more or something?

Hey! ^^ Sorry for having taken so long to answer, I forgot the incomplete answer in my drafts and couldn't find the ask again because of that. ^^" Now to answer your questions: 1. MCC is one of the Sky Gods' games, and since Scott is one of the fairer between the Sky Gods, his Games have more structure and he usually does give the rewards he promised without tricks, or at least not as many as the rest of the Sky Gods. 2. The Game version of the MCC is pretty similar to how it is in our world, just way less fun for the participants, since failing means death or being trapped in the Sky Gods' Games longer. As for the Teams they are chosen according to what the Gods think would be the most entertaining combination of people. (That's why they always paired Wilbur and Schlatt in the same Games cause they were entertained by their interaction) Or based on how much they think the 'team members' will egg each other on in losing themselves to the Madness of the Games. Agathus participated to that version of the MCC too, as the Sky Gods' favourite plaything. 3. As for how many people the Sky Gods kidnap, it depends. If they have enough playthings that have not bored them yet, they may take only a few hundreds, the numbers though rise, when they are at their most bored. The people taken by the Gods kind of just wake up in their realm, like the CCs do in both AToL and tHAW. They get taken gradually, but in groups. 4. Oh, that's a good question. Personally, I would find the Mole Game to be the most horrible, but that is because I have a fear of being buried alive and also claustrophobia. So that game specifically is terrifying for me. But in general I would say either the Sunpocalypse or the ever raising lava ones since there is no real escape to either of them. (And in the Shattered!Verse you can't escape to the Nether, since it's entrance is impossible from the Sky Gods' realm). 5. The recreations of the Games' in Las Nevadas are pretty close to the real thing, without the death and torment from the Gods' of course. Quackity did use illusion runes to create the illusion of the raising lava(and feather falling for when people fell from the platforms to not get hurt), they are different from the ones you would use on a person because of the way they are written, as they are less layered, and also they need only one infusion of magic instead of a constant one that you would need for the one on a person. Luckily because the games of the Eternal Day festival are just a simulation and a 'celebration' for the Gods, there isn't really a punishment for losing. As they lean more in the Game aspect of the Sky Gods than the Madness one.

hiii!! :D i was wondering more about the religion in your world so i figured i might as well pop in here with my questions ^^

so like, are there any holy symbols (like how we have crosses and things like that) for prime (or any other religions)? and if so, what's the story behind them? and does just any follower carry them around, or are they only used by specific people/in specific situations?

are there any animals that are considered sacred to any gods, or on the flipside, are there any animals considered unholy or evil? i feel like there's an association with enál and rams in some way but i'm not sure of the specifics of that, just that his champions get horns. but is that because rams are sacred to him, or for another reason?

also, i don't remember for the life of me rn where or when, so correct me if i'm wrong, but i feel like you've talked about holy water from the church of prime in your writings before, but i'd love to hear more about whether or not you actually have that in your world or if i just made that up, and if you do, i'd be really curious about how one acquires it and what all it helps with.

are there any other things of note that any of your religions do, like sacraments, fastings, confessions, etc etc.

i was also curious about just how common demigods are in your universe, like, i know drista is one, but is there anyone else? how are the demigods generally treated by the mortals, and do they have any powers or blessings or anything like that?

and are there any named characters that Do follow the gods (im pretty sure tommy likes prime, but i don't know much beyond that) and if so, what all do they do to practice their religion? and were they always followers of that religion or did something make them want to join? and feel free to also share anything else related to this question (or any other concept related to religion, for that matter) that you think i would like to know

Hi ^^ To answer your questions: 1. Yes, each of the Gods has their own holy symbol (though for Nether Gods and Sky Gods, share symbols between their major and minor gods excluding a few of them) As for which are these symbols:

Prime: A glowing circle, meant to represent the halo of his Angels.

Lady Death: A crow skull circled in wither roses and marigolds, the crow skull is in reference to Her Angel, while the wither roses and marigolds are to show how intertwined life and death are.

The Guardian of the Void: Their symbol is the Eye of Ender, ever since their champion had it bestowed to show their favour.

The Sky Gods: An half circle skewered by rays (kind of similar to the Iron Crown of Darkest Dungeon), usually painted in light blue. It is used as a physical representation of the Madness their favour inflicts. (Eternal Day also has a full crown, similar to a sun to represent him)

The Nether Gods: It's usually a wither skull in blood red or white and red. Because of their connections with the Wither.

Blood God: Techno doesn't really have a symbol, as he does not really care much for the formalities of worship mortals have for him. But people usually represent him with a sword going through a crown, both painted in Blood.

The Immortal One: While Foolish doesn't have an active following anymore in the times he did, his symbol was, well, himself, drawn in a simplified version (think of the sprite of the Totems of Undying in MC)

They are usually used only in specific occasions, though the followers of the Guardian, the Blood God and the Sky Gods tend to wear their holy symbols more commonly than the ones of other Gods.

2. No God in the Shattered!Verse as a particular connection/has animals that are considered holy or particularly unholy to them. Though Foolish's believers used to consider sharks their Godling's favoured animal. As for Enál and rams, is not that they have any connection to him specifically. But his favourite mortal(favourite in the way he loves to Torment him), does so Enál uses it to bring him more pain.

3. I can't remember writing about Prime's holy water in any fics but I do remember mentioning it so it was probably either a comment or an ask. It can be obtained either in a church of Prime or by getting pure water blessed by a Clerk of Prime, because of its holiness it gives some protection against the undead monsters as a sort of ward against them, and it can be used to cure those that get cursed by a witch.

4. They do have them. Prime's are the most familiar to our world as they are very similar to the Christian ones (though Baptism has do be chose and cannot be given to an infant). For Lady Death the only sacrament bestowed in his name is the anointment for the sick and the rites of passage for the souls of the deceased; Though people often confess to Her hoping in Her forgiveness to receive a kinder afterlife. The Guardian does not have conventional rites, but some are followed and bestowed in their name. The Sky Gods and the Nether Gods(specifically Techno) have a lot of specifics in how their religion is followed, and its difficult to summarise it in an answer that is already as long as this one is, so I will probably make a post for it, once I have a bit more time. (Sorry ^^")

5. Demigods are really rare in the Shattered!Verse, they do have some special 'powers' coming from the God or Goddess they are connected to. They are usually considered above humans and treated as such from mortals.

6. There are named characters that follow the Gods. Tommy, Tubbo and Niki are followers of Prime, though Tubbo and Niki are less evident in their belief than Tommy. There aren't really followers of Lady Death, but technically Foolish and Luzu are in a certain way. The Sovereign follows the Guardian Though not of his own volition, Wilbur technically is a follower of the Sky Gods, if anything because he still respects their rites and because he is considered their Prophet by the sects worshipping them. Jack, Eret, Sapnap and BBH are followers of the Nether Gods. Sparkles follows the Blood God(though he almost believes more in his General than the God he is a warrior for) and Niki also was once a warrior of the Blood God. As for Schlatt, he believes in the Sylvan Gods, that are the Gods revered by a particular group of hybrids that believes that they are superior to humans. And also Enál.

hey! so i've been working on the wendigo analysis, and i know you mentioned a particular version where it's caused by specifically eating someone's heart. do you happen to have any materials or additional information about this version? i would love to read more about it, but my efforts on finding anything good have been less than fruitful thus far.

I would love to give you more info about it, but I can't remember where I read it, and even upon searching couldn't find more than stuff quoting the game Until Dawn which was not what I was talking about when mentioning that.

hey! it's been a while since i asked anything on here, but i just had a few curiosities and hypotheticals that i was wondering about, so i figured i'd actually ask them on here for once ^^

1. (// slight atol spoilers) would thaw!george be like atol!george in that he's also actually the cc? and if so, why hasn't XD gotten bored of him yet in this timeline? is george even going to be in thaw? i feel like he will be eventually, solely bc he was also included under thaw in that one age post of yours, but idk maybe i'm wrong.

2. how did soot magically dip? right now i can only think of ender pearls and transport portals as the ways people can teleport to places in your world, but it hasn't been confirmed what he actually did in thaw. are there any other ways? did he use a transport portal, some kind of stasis chamber(seems unlikely, but i'm covering all my bases yk), or something else? also, i don't think i asked this before, but what is a transport portal? how would you go about obtaining one? and how does it actually work? does it need runes, bc i think i recall tbom!wilbur mentioning rune work when he got one from techno? if so and if that is what they used, did philza help with those ones too?

3. what did philza see in tommy in the latest theseus' home chapter? because it definitely isn't like what q sees. we saw tbom!philza look into wilbur's soul that one time, and it was very different from what q sees. like, ig it still showed the danger that the dark blue would show q if he knew about the significance of the magic color, just in a different, more explicit and detailed way for philza. but what was it like for thiloas(is that the right abbreviation?)!tommy? how is thaw!theseus' soul different from tbom!wilbur's? from thaw!tommy's? how does philza even peer into people's souls to begin with, like, does he have to stare into their eyes, or just stare at them in general (i'm sticking w staring so much bc of how big of a deal it seemed to be in theseus' home, maybe that's misguided of me though idk)? also why did he only get to see tbom!wilbur's soul for the first time in that moment when he looked into his eyes, what was stopping him before?

4. i also have some follow-up questions on illusions... like, what does it feel like to be under an illusion? is it uncomfortable at all? weird? and also what are they like when the illusion is of a different species? obviously, thaw!soot was just pretending to be himself but younger so we didn't see this with him, but if some hypothetical human were to put on an illusion of, say, fundy, would they get his heightened hybrid senses and the ability to shift as well, maybe by using up extra magic? or do they still only have human abilities and just look like they don't to the outside world? just how similar are illusions to the sky gods changing the ccs to be more physically and physiologically similar to their characters (besides the latter not requiring any runes or magic)? and this may be a stupid question, but are there any limits to animal/mob illusions? like, would i be able to be under the illusion of just a normal fucking bird if i wanted to? but then, if there are limits, then where's the line? would people be able to pretend to be sam or slime, or would they be immune to that because they're technically mobs too?

i have so many more, but i think these are the least spoilery to ask on here, so i'm saving the rest for later/elsewehere. feel free not to answer things though if you don't want to give something away, idm :]

To answer your questions:

1. This is a thing of the way I write my version of George's character, he's always both c! and CC! because of the fact that XD found it interesting to see what would happen if they did so. (Though in contrary of AToL, George isn't aware that what's happening is not only incredibly vivid dreams)As for why the Guardian hasn't gotten bored yet, that's because Chaos keeps happening, in AToL thing resolved in a manner that turned the dsmp story in a much less Chaotic story for XD's tastes, while in thaw the story just followed canon(of course with my adjustments to make the events realistic). George will appear once Quackity's ex-fiances show up.

2. Soot used a Transport Portal to leave LN. As for other instant transport methods there really aren't many in my universe, because the ones that exist are very complicated on the magic aspect and also if one gets their rune work wrong can be dangerous.

A Transport Portal is a crystal that has been bound to a location using rune work and using some slightly modified runes similar to those that allow opening portals to the nether dimension, it transport people instantaneously to the location the crystal was bound to once it's shattered.

Usually their are made by those that will use them if they are good with rune working but one can buy an unprimed crystal from an Alchemist (though here come in play the possibile danger of the alchemist wasn't too good with the runes).

Wilbur made his own with some help to Philza to pour enough magic into it(since he couldn't deplete is own for Illusion purposes)

3. For the first three questions you'll have to wait and see, sorry ^^". As for how Philza peers into people souls, it's an ability of his coming from his Angelhood, Angels always see people less like they appear physically and more in the way their soul looks. But because Philza is a Fallen Angel, he has lost the ability to see them all the time, instead he has to look into someone's eyes to be able to.

In TBOM, the reason why he hadn't done so before was because he was in denial over the fact that seeing souls was not as natural for him anymore.

4. Illusions are pretty interesting and as for what you can cloak yourself as there is virtually no limit, though as it is an illusion everything you can do in your 'new' for his limited to what you could already do normally. So for example: if you cloaked yourself in the Illusion of a bird, you'd look like a bird to everyone around you, yes, but you can't chirp if you don't already know how, nor you could fly or stand on a thin branch as your body weight is unchanged and people are much heavier than birds.

As for the question about if someone pretended to be Fundy, that is an interesting one, because virtually if they are good enough with runes(and not scared of the pain) they could make one complex enough to make it seem like they are shapeshifting... But that would require an unnatural amount of magic to keep up so it's practically impossible.

As for how it feels, being cloaked under an Illusion, feels kind of as if you had a film over your skin, it isn't uncomfortable per se but it isn't the most comfortable experience.

🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated?

I think it is Pro Patria Mori, a lot of work went into that fic, into writing the War for L'Manberg as realistic as possible and it didn't feel like people liked it all that much.

🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!)

Oh, this is a though one. I'd say I like writing Siblings mostly, or flawed Parent/Child relationships.

But I also enjoy writing Enemies that have a long history behind them.

🍑 If you could make a connection between your favorite character and another work you care about (whether a crossover/fusion or a wonderfully “pretentious” literary reference) what would it be? How would it work?

Since I have two absolutely favourite characters I'm gonna do it for them both.

Wilbur Soot reminds me of General 'Frost' from the Italian book 'The General Over the Hill' that I had to read for school. There is just something about how both of them get seen as bigger then life by their soldiers while they are just two poor men trying to do the best they can with the shit hand destiny has given them. And also the fact that both of their humanity gets lost behind their action to the point that, for example, General 'Frost' gets only called with his nickname after chapter one of the book. While Wilbur constantly gets little nicknames from the fandom that make his circumstances part of him (think L'Manbur, Pogbur, Vilbur, Revivedbur)

As for Quackity he reminds me of the protagonist of a Latin tragedy I had to read for school once, because both Quackity and said character fought so much for what they believed in that it ended up corrupting their ideals, in the Roman story that was used to show how excesses end up destroying even the most virtuous of men, and I think that that also kind of fits with Quackity, for he went from the Law Enforcer to a man that would kill on a whim if he feels what it's his or himself to be threatened.

🍍 What kind of AUs do you like? Are there any AUs you hate or just generally have beef with?

Ohhh, that's a difficult choice right there. There are so many AUs that I like, though I would say maybe the ones I like the most are the ones that alter the story, leaving it still in it's original setting.

I have beef with College and High School AUs not for any particular reason, just I don't understand why people like to write about things set in schools so much.

🍈 Who’s your blorbo and what are some of your favorite headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? Free pass to rant about blorbo opinions.

Again I have two blorbos, Wilbur and Quackity, that are like my favourite in absolute and I have so much to say about them.

Though most of the headcanons that show a lot in my fics a out them are my own so I don't know if that qualifies for the question.

But if I had to pinpoint one that I'm ready to fight for is my idea that: Wilbur was not evil, nor was he a miserable nobody unable to do anything but depress about(yes I'm referring to all those people that go so far into trying to apologize for Wilbur's actions in the story so far so to remove him the agency of his own actions), he was a very troubled man, and even if he did terrible things , all of it came from a place in which his enemies had put him to. From the place of desperation he fell into. And I will fight till my last breath to defend his character from being reduced to either a 2d Villain, or a pathetic rag of a man with no agency over his own actions.

i was wondering about all of the districts in las nevadas, since i only know of a few of their names right now: the pariah, heron and gaslit. but there's definitely Way more than just those.

how many districts even are there in las nevadas? what are the aesthetics of them? and are there ones that represent sapnap and karl too, like how the gaslit one is actually l'manberg for wilbur? what's the name of that outermost district that the gamblers were at with the stables that one time?

and what are all the colors for the districts in the maintenance tunnels? like, the pariah's is wine red, but what about the other districts? what one's the sun yellow color that they saw?

the restaurant that the tommys ate with slime at was in the gaslit district that one time, right, since it was the victorian district? what restaurant did they go to eat at? and where was that ice-cream parlor?

do the characters have any favorite districts? like, i can presume that quackity's is the pariah, but what about slime? foolish? i could probably guess that that one neon district is tommy's Least favorite with the cigarette smell, but does he have a favorite? are there any other favorite districts of people you wanna mention?

had soot ever seen the gaslit district before, or did he usually just stick around the heron and pariah districts, and was only aware of the gaslit district by like, its maintenance tunnel color, if even that?

and what are some other attractions that the patrons of las nevadas like to visit, other than the grand pariah, monarch and the heron club?

Oh, there are definitely way more districts, forty being the 'principal ones', aka the bigger ones, and hundreds of smaller districts and areas of passage in between.

Some of the other bigger districts are:

DarkSide District, its aesthetic is similar to grim punk with a pinch of diesel punk. It has a very 'gritty' scruffed look, but in a way that works still without making it seem without order or abandoned. Its biggest attraction is the Arena, where various types of shows happen, and also where traveling circuses specialized in 'domesticated' monsters of the night, stop for their shows.

Green District, its aesthetic is very solarpunk, natural, most of the streets are simple cobblepaths or stone roads in what looks like an endless field. It's biggest attraction is the Botanic Gardens that hold specimens for all the plants known in their world, from both Continent and the Archipelago but also from smaller islands, there is also a section for Netherborn plants.

Lights District, the cyberpunk looking district, were most of the redstone work of Las Nevadas is focused to keep the fluctuations from the more 'natural' skulk energy from making its neon-like lights flicker. The biggest attractions of this District are: the Race Way and the Starnova Casino.

Red Ace District, walking in the Red Ace District is like walking in a noir styled gangster inspired movie. It's beautiful and moody. The biggest attraction is: The Icepick Lounge and its connected casino.

Solar District, also called Tranquillity Oasis, it's Foolish's corner of Las Nevadas. The style of it is very Ancient Egyptian looking and the biggest most noticeable feature is the Temple, where people can go and pray for the Godling's concession so that their prayers may reach the Gods.

There are many others but I can't list all forty , still I wanted to show some of my favourites.

There are two districts that were very much intended to bring familiarity to Karl and Sapnap.

That was the Leaf District, which is also the only district in Las Nevadas to not have big casinos, instead having a lot of inns and stables, it's also where the fields that produce most of the city's food are located.

Each District has its own identificative color: the yellow one is for the Solar District; Deep Green for the Green District; Sea Blue for the Gaslit District; Magenta for the Lights District; Deep Red for the Red Ace; Slate Grey for the DarkSide District; and many more.

The restaurant was in the Gaslit District, as for the Ice cream parlor is in a Area of Passage between the Gaslit and the Pariah Districts.

Slime's favourite district is the Moonlight District, and its natural cave pools.

Foolish's is his own district. While Tommy's favorite district is the Green District. Purpled enjoys spending his time in the Lights District, while Fundy prefers to take long strolls either in the Gaslit District or the Heron District.

Wilbur usually sticks to the District's where he knows Quackity will be so he hasn't seen much of Las Nevadas as of yet.

There are many attractions in Las Nevadas for all tastes and for all intents, they range from theaters to game houses, to arenas, parks even places where to train ones sword, bow or crossbow abilities. Everything people can ever want is somewhere in Las Nevadas.
