Professor Oak was more of one of her father's colleagues than hers, and she'd met him as a child once or twice when her father had traveled over for a visit. Though she supposed things have changed since she had first taken up becoming the regional professor. They were colleagues now, a funny and strange thought, even if she wasn't sure whether he considered her the same.
Today, she was at the lab. There were a few papers at her desk, things that she needed to send to Oak, and he'd sent his grandson over to pick them up.
Her pokemon clamored towards the entrance as they heard the newcomer's footsteps. She ushered them away before reaching for it. "You must be his grandson. I've been waiting for you." The professor said with a polite smile.
