Shuuya was up late, piecing together yet another invention. The last one he had done was not enough; and so was the one before. He knew that the criminal mastermind would not be satisfied with just 'toys'. He sighed in frustration. Glancing out the window, a figure caught his eye. There was a lady outside of the gate, rummaging in her bag. People usually never stopped in front of the juvenile detention center. Curious, he crept out of the dormitory in silence. He knew he could not get anywhere past the gates, but he tried to get as close as he could. He stopped in front of the gate, peering at the figure outside.

He looked out the window, noticing a figure clad in rather old-fashioned clothing. It wasn't a very tall figure either. As he moved closer, he could make out that the figure was a boy. The boy didn't look very much older than him. Furrowing his brow, he realized something strange. This boy looked like him, minus the eyepatch and the extravagant clothing.
