Call him a bookworm if you like but both vampire and human R enjoys the smell of old books and a really old library. It has a soothing sensation on his mind, but there is one other smell that is almost better than the smell of old books, and that is the smell of rain. It doesn’t remind him of anything, just the steady beat is soothing and constant.

Jesus CHRIST! Losing your temper was one thing, but having a fit in the middle of a public building was another. Ellie usually didn’t like to get involved off the clock but sometimes she couldn’t help herself. She wasn’t in the humour to listen to someone else giving out. There was enough stress on her plate with one Scotsman yelling back at the station, she didn’t want to hear another while she was having coffee.

💝 Does my muse like Valentine’s Day?💘 What are the ways my muse says ‘I love you’ without actually saying it?

Valentine’s day, in R’s opinion is too blown up. People don’t need a special day to show that they love someone or be reminded to tell them that they do. Like all special days, it’s become more about money than the actual purpose, and he’s just grown tired of it. he would rather skip Valentine’s day, treat it as any other, and then make a big spectical by himself any ohter random day of the year.

R usually doesn’t do large things. He’s the one that deoes the little things. if he picks up on his parnter being sad, or tired or frustrated or anything, he will take on their tasks, he will secretly spoil them and take care of them, leaving them little gifts of what he know they like. Books, records, clothes, invetations, flowers, gadgets, notes, anything.

Dorian.

Dorian is unfamilliar with the concept of live. he is a master to mimic it, to present it and play the part, but to feel it? Valentine’s day is annoying and loud, but if he does have a partner, valentine’s day is a day he is very precise to celebrate ‘the right way’ with flowers, treats and presents. He can’t be failing on a day that is so important to other boring people when he’s giving the impresion of being prefect.

HE doesn’t really say ‘i love you’ in any way. Very rarely in words or actions other than him being rather attentive when he needs to be, and then only for as long as he needs without anybody notecing what he’s really doing.

With nothing better to do now he was more or less just waiting for everything in his book to be okayed and published, John had found himself spending a lot of time at Malcolm’s house. He wasn’t really doing anything while he was there - just lazing about and rambling on about things that he was sure Malcolm didn’t care about really.

Today was different, though. Today, John was quiet, his eyes tracking the other man’s every move before his own body copied it. Malcolm sat differently to John and it felt unnatural to copy it, but that didn’t matter. Until he got bored, he was pretending to be the man sat near him. With any luck, it’d help him clear his own mind somewhat.
