What if you designed through dance? - Michelle Fletcher & Giulia Delpiano

This past week, ICRAVE explored our first IFTB post with a workshop titled, “Design Through Dance.” The ICRAVE team used such tools as; levels, symmetry, asymmetry, and positive and negative space, to construct and realize our designs. We collaborated to draft our individually created gestures in interior space, and “built” a dance. The takeaway? Designing through dance gave ICRAVE’rs a multi-dimensional understanding of how the body moves and interacts with the spaces we’re designing on a day-to-day basis. It was inspirational, creative and in the least, a fun kinetic-based idea. Check out the results:

Flashback to when I toured as far as I could with my friends. Going hungry, freezing or sweating in a van with no heat or AC, and playing in different city to a different crowd every night for 8 years with different bands to not even picking up a pair of drumsticks for a whole year. I miss it everyday but I'm proud of where I am and what the real world has offered me. #theoffer #IFTB #beartrap.
