#Repost @mistymacallister with @get_repost ・・・ You know that expression, THERE'S LUCK IN ODD NUMBERS? Well, that's really an old saying. Why people think odd numbers are lucky, started with Pythagoras, I believe. He had many theories about things. But in Romania, where I was born and lived my formative years, there was a strong feeling about odd and even numbers. Here's a true story. 🍒 When I moved to the US, I met this guy and he gave me a bouquet of roses at some point. ME: Wow, thanks! I love flowers! Is that twelve roses? HE: Yes. ME: You know, if I go home and put these twelve roses in a vase it means someone will die. Me...you...who knows? HE: Because of roses? ME: No. Because of the number 12. HE: Really? But that's how roses are sold here. By the dozen. ME: Oh. That's bad luck. You simply can't have 12 roses in one vase. That's disaster. So when I get home I have to put 11 roses in one vase and 1 in another. You just simply can't have 12 roses in one vase. Actually, you know what, here, you take one, and that way I have 11, you have 1, all odd numbers, which are lucky and that way no one will die. 🍒 Growing up in Romania, I've been to many funerals and it was ok to bring a bouquet with an even number of flowers at someone's funeral because, I guess, their luck had already run out. 🍒 Also, as a matter of curiosity, odd numbers are masculine, and even numbers are feminine (also something Pythagoras concocted). Well, now it makes sense why you'd give a woman a dozen roses. Women are born unlucky. 🍒 And here’s a photo of only one me, which is lucky. #mistymacallister #nobraday #bodymood #baessence #ig_sensual #shotsosensual #sensual_ladies #humanedge
