☀️ What’s your favorite season? And what books are you hoping to read this season? Happy First Day of Summer, Bookworms! (Or whichever season you’re in at the moment!) 🥰 Do you have a favorite season? Mine is late fall … when the weather is finally turning cooler and the colors are beautiful outside. It’s really the best. That is followed closely by winter. (Can you tell that I don’t like being hot? 😂) I do love some things about summer … tank tops and shorts, longer days, and summer reading. I can definitely do without the heat though. It’s going to be 97F here today, and I’m not looking forward to it. 🤣 What about you guys? Do you have a favorite season?? And are there any books that you’re looking forward to reading this season? I LOVE summer reading. I don’t know why, but it feels so different than reading any other time of year. I usually try to read all the beachy/summer themed books around this time of year, because I’d much rather experience summer in a book than in real life. 😂 I am hoping to read SO many books this summer! "What's with your tone? It should be -
Yayyyyyyyyyy! Finally summer is here." Arya says excitedly.
"Ya. But with the heat it's just not us not who are ready to hit the beach but rashes, breakouts and sunburns are ready to hit us too.", Sighs Sneha.
"Not when we know how to avoid it", Arya encourages
"Easy for someone with fab skin to say.", Sneha retorts.
"Oh hello nothing is fab without effort and my skincare routine changes according to the environment and weather. Wanna know my secret and be summer ready?", Arya says
Sneha nods excitedly.
"First things first, hydration is important."
"Thank you Captain obvious!", Both roll their eyes.
"Will you listen? It is essential to hydrate our bodies inside & outside. Drink water at regular intervals, use hyaluronic serum, moisturizing sheet mask and facial mist to spritz on during the day.
Use an alcohol free, pH balanced, water or gel based cleanser twice a day and avoid over-cleansing.
Use a lightweight, oil-free, vitamin C serum and don't forget a moisturizer that'll help to trap in the hydration.
Introduce green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits and nuts in your diet to get a good dose of antioxidants.
Use gentle scrub twice a week and be gentle with your skin.
Use light makeup and don't skip your night routine.
Do not forget your eyes, lips and feet and take good care of them.
Don't skip your sunscreen even when you are indoors. Make sure you reapply them every few hours to ensure you avoid pigmentation, uneven texture and dull skin. Use a SPF 40 broad spectrum sunscreen. "
"And these will help me to have fab skin?", asked Sneha suspiciously.
"I always do that", Arya said nonchalantly
"Okay!" Sneha runs away with Arya's skin care pouch.
"Hey! Not fair", Arya runs after Sneha.
