Boy(-friends) that travel together, stay together like...

The Swiss and Vietnamese tourism boards must be giddy right now. They bagged the cutest most mischievous, handsome and funny duo to promote their countries as THEE destination for adventurous couples who seek to relax, explore, feel joy, prioritize pleasure and get a shot of adrenaline.

Who better to do all this than Jikook. This show was written for them.

Their truly infectious energy.

Created by them. To carve a slice of simple pleasures in a world that cannot understand why they'd seek its together.

They make joy a priority after a deluge of hardship.

Can you imagine? To have two of the most beautiful handsome and joyful -THEIR GIGGLES - men do all of these activities together in order to promote your country as a romantic and adventurous place to visit. To use a couple to lure more couples to seek such a connection?!

Like- Hello...if it quacks like a swan being fed bread crumbs by Jimin, than it walks like a swan seeing Jungkook smile fondly at him in return.

Because that is what this show is, it's a sequence of dates that reinforce Jikook's deep bond.

Season two is no longer burdened with the looming enlistment like the first season. It's the opposite. In season two Jikook have been freed from that mandatory cage and have healing set as their main goal.

What better way to do that than together. Using their shared solid base as the jump point.

And it's working too.

Jikook will now have multiple tourism boards chasing after them like dogs in heat, because lords if I don't want to see those sights.

There's nothing more that I want than to travel to Switzerland right this minute with my sweetheart clinging to my arm. To hear them giggle as we steal cuddles on the cobbled streets of Zürich, or as we sit in the park to have a meaningful conversation. TO SIT OUTSIDE AT A BAR AS WE DRINK BEERS AND CONCLUDE THAT GOING ON TRIPS TOGETHER WAS ALWAYS THE RIGHT ANSWER.

Tumblr just asked me if I was ok because I looked up 'sad dog' gifs.. and how do I explain to tumblr that my sadness is actually joy wrapped up in 'met expectations'.

I am happy. So happy they got to go on these trips. The trailer is amazing and I loved. LOVED. LOVEDDDD seeing them be happy together.

I truly don’t understand, why they did the show in the first place and then again knowing they got so much hate, and continue to do so

but if only friends, why don’t they promote the show like friends would, like any show would be promoted, like Ariana and Cynthia are promoting Wicked, like the two from One D will promote their travel show.

Instead we have a lacklustre effort from the pair of them and the company. Both have gone live and not mentioned it at all.

What’s the point? To coin Jimin’s lyrics?

One, why are you sad? I am sad too but that's just hormones.

Don't you know? AYS 2 is coming!

Two, comparing Jikook to C&A or the 1D men is not fair. Completely different cultures, industries and backgrounds.

Jikook are like a glowing orb of light but if you look at it too closely you can go mad, but it's so addictive so you keep glancing and holding very gently because it's so pretty and special. They're not just colleagues or good friends or family, they transcend those labels in the depth of their feelings. They are each other's plus one, emergency contact and first thought when thinking about the mystery of love.

See? Hormones 😭😭😭 dw it'll pass.. I get all sappy this time of the month and I cannot.

You do see why Jikook might be cautious? It really sucks that the intended purpose of the leaks and intrusions might be having an effect on how they interact now.. this is just speculation BTW, but I assume you see it too and yes,.. it sucks. What we can do is be incredibly supportive of the show, of them, alone and together.
