36) How does your character behave around people they dislike?
Truuuly depends on the person…. Iris grew up in the Citadel surrounded by snobby, condescending higher-ups so she’d practically trained herself to put on a façade and keep up the polite and respectful demeanor towards the person no matter how shitty they’re being.
Although if ranks/positions weren’t taken into consideration (and if she knows she can handle the other should a confrontation arise) she’s likely to voice out her feelings. “Hey, so you’ve been an ass to me/my friend/family and I won’t tolerate that bullshit. What is your deal?/Get the hell outta my face./Kindly make love cactuar.” If it’s a problem they can solve, great, she’d love to not hold anger/dislike towards a person because negative feelings are gross. If not, well, they can fuck right off or catch these hands.
37) Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?
Oooohshit, status, probably. Growing up an Amicitia and all she most likely had to learn that they were to keep their name clean since they served the royal family. Her own personal honour and pride mattered less.
38) Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?
… Depends on the situation as well? Really, she’d prefer to remove the problem herself if it involved her or her friends/family, but if it really shouldn’t be sticking her nose into it she’d mind her own business. Or perhaps try to mediate between the parties, if she could help at all. She dislikes conflict tbh.
39) Has your character ever been bitten by an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)?
When she was young she got bitten by a stray cat for attempting to pet it. The Hesters thought it wise to get her vaccinated for rabies ASAP, though thankfully the cat wasn’t infected. Did this stop her from going after cats and trying to pet them anyway? Clearly not.
Mid-game Iris has had one or two close calls with voretooths while fighting with the bros. Instead of rabies it was poison that you’d get from such creatures. Good thing Ignis always had a great med kit on the go.
Timeskip Iris had plenty of bites and claw marks from her hunts but the worst by far came from a coeurl which almost made a chewtoy out of her. The bite on her ankle has scarred, recovery from almost having her leg torn out took about a month.
40) How does your character treat people in service jobs?
Very well! The girl is kind and appreciative of the work those people are doing, knows how shitty their jobs can get so she understands if they get cranky or seem unenthusiastic when serving her. She’d heard enough complaining from Noct back when he was in the food industry lol.
