Gladio’s hand grazed the raised leather skin of the ball as he pushed it towards the ground, his shoes screeching against the concrete as he made swift work of dodging incoming bodies who would see fit to prevent him from reaching the goal post. His tanned skin was slick with sweat, buds of it sticking themselves to the raised ridges of his fresh ink as he raced around the court, a confident smirk on his lips throughout the play. It took a few passes between him and a couple friends, but eventually they managed to make their way across the court. Gladio launched himself in the air and slammed the ball through the net as all his friends cheered loudly and nearly tackled him.
His laugh was loud and low, a true testament to how much he had matured over the last few years, if his body wasn’t enough of an indicator. He hit another growth spurt in the last year or so and towered over most, if not all, of his classmates.
He chucked the ball to a friend and made his way off the court to grab his water bottle and a towel when his amber eyes caught a glimpse of someone wandering by the courtyard. He turned back to his friends, waving for a minute before jogging off towards him.
“Yo-- Iggy!”
He finally caught up, panting slightly still, and dabbed his face with the towel he had wrapped around his shoulders. He smiled, eyeing the younger student-- he was a junior this year, right? Though he always seemed to forget he was younger. There had been plenty of times he accidentally thought Ignis was in his senior courses, even if he understood most of the material.
“You free after classes? Or do you have to pick up Noctis again?”
