now... don't assume that zadkiel has never tried to understand mortals. she definitely has for as long as she's actually been on earth but they never turned out well in neither parties favor ( very much due to ignorance & stubbornness and i can't say it enough ).

she's has been in all sorts ( from exclusively monogamous to polyamorous ) & multiple relationships with them whether they claimed her as their partner or not. regardless, the mortals always find themselves severely disappointed & unsatisfied and break up with her.

this is not counting cain as one of them since he was a knight of hell at the time of their relationship.

being an angel and and all, it was & it still is difficult for her to "blend in" as she quite literally does as she pleases without any consideration of anybody but herself. plus with her strong dislike for humans, her care for them is extremely low.

she is slightly more inclined to listen to other species like reapers, vampires, shapeshifters, etc. and she is guaranteed to listen to other higher angels, higher demons, and other entities of higher power. immortal humans… she'll acknowledge their existence because they were gifted with that ability. example being the first born son of adam and eve. father of murder, cain, even if she didn't listen to him fully.

it's interesting how even after daddy dearest banished zadkiel, yet she still kneels and tries to do "god's work". but like everyone else, she doesn't know if she's doing the right thing or not. however, she does not see an issue with the way she exercises her virtue either.

that anon going on about adoption is a fucknugget. Adoption is a VERY PERSONAL decision and made for very good reasons. You had yours. Someone very dear to me had hers. PERSONAL means NO ONE SHOULD FUCKING MAKE IT A POLITICAL STATEMENT. Tell that fucknugget, if they come back, to take their opinion and shove it up their fucking ass, so it can live next to their head.

Honestly I'm not even mad anymore. I don't stay angry very long as a rule, but esp with this because quite frankly this is 1000000000000% expected behaviour towards me as soon as someone finds out I gave up multiple offspring for adoption.

Talking about shit like this and how it affects your personal life is ALWAYS seen as an avenue to discuss someone's political beliefs. Always.

I remember when I announced my second pregnancy on a forum community I was a part of for years, and added that I was giving the kid up for adoption, my congrats thread turned into literally eighteen pages of two people standing on their political soap box, then getting super mega offended when people yelled at them.

The mother of my partner even said that I was a baby factory if I gave it up for adoption, and equated it to giving up a litter of puppies or human trafficking.

Nothing surprises me anymore.
