Ignoredtale (AU by me)
This AU takes place after the barrier was broken, every monster along with the human left the Underground. But, one of them didn't.
As much as he loved sleeping and being lazy around, he didn't do it on purpose this time. The barrier dissapeared and everyone was leaving, his brother and his friends too. Nobody thought that he was still inside the cave. Everyone thought he was outside and didn't bothered checking. Sans was still inside when the rocks fell into the new entrance of the Underground, blocking it and, with the magic that the mountain contained, the entrance sealed itself, leaving no hopes for anyone to enter again...or leave.
And, by the time he realised, he was alone. If being stuck in the Underground with the other monsters for years wasn't enough, being stuck ALONE in the Underground for who knows how long was, for sure, going to drive him crazy.
And so it did. The years passed by, the new generations were born and the eldest died, nobody remembered who "Sans" was nor they did know he existed, and even if they did, they just ignored the thought of what happened to him. Sans was hopeless in the other hand, he had been trying for so long to find a way out, with or without magic, but nothing seemed to work. And even if there were any advance, the constant silence in everywhere was like a sharp knife in his back, pushing deeper as the days went by.
Waterfall, Snowdine and The Capital were as quite as never, it felt so dead and sick for him, he was barely able to sneak out of his room for the Underground to unstable his mind.
But, as the darkness comes by, it is always followed by a light. And a day, quite out of nowhere, a skeleton with strange clothes and a big brush appeared, mumbling something about a small new AU and how miserable the Sans of it was. The intruder didn't pass as unaware to Sans and they started talking. The intruder named himself Ink, and he appeared to be the "Guardian and Protector of the AUs", which were Alternative Universes of the original universe, Undertale.
He explained everything he knew by constantly visiting Ignoredtale, which seemed to be the name of that AU and Sans, anxious to leave that nightmare of place, begged Ink to take him with him, that he would do anything but that he wouldn't leave him ALONE again.
Ink agreed and toke him to the Sketched Place (where Ink mostly is since that is where the AUs are) and made a deal with him. Which was that if Ink had a problem or he needed help with ANYTHING, he would be there to help him, and in exchange, Sans could go-and-go through the AUs easily.
Sans from Ignoredtale accepted the deal. And, he was given a knife that could break a portal into other AUs. He also could use his magic, which, instead of being Blue and Yellow as normal, it changed into Orange and Purple.
Sans couldn't be with his beloved ones, but, he could travel around every posible universe that existed, which seemed like a dream back when he was alone in his AU. So, he was grateful to Ink, swearing his loyalty to him.
And, as much as he wanted to keep his clothes and name, he would have been watched as a weirdo around the AUs like Underswap or even Undertale, so, he changed his name to Ssen Sans and changed his clothes to his new look. Leaving him to do as he pleased. Living a happy life ALONE. Well, not so alone since he kind of lived with Ink but you understand.
But, the Schizophrenia he developed those long years he passed alone in, mostly, his room, was getting worse. Seeing, hearing, feeling. It was a continue torture, he could see his friends, his family, his co-workers in places they weren't. He had to hide it from Ink and everyone else, he had to suffer it ALONE. And all that negativity couldn't pass unnoticed by the kind of nightmares.
Nightmare found him in Underswap, after fighting with his annoying brother. Ssen did kinda give up against him and just let himself be with the Bad Sanses. Meaning that he may or may not be in that group, manipulated by Nightmare himself.
That means that Ssen isn't in the good side nor the bad side. He is neutral and, well, he quite enjoys destroying and all that but he still have a bit of sanity to not be a serial and maniac killer 24/7. So, he divides his time between helping Ink and being with the Bad Sanses.
At least he can live a life without being ALONE.

Questions that I would like to answer.
Where does the name of the Sans come from?
Ssen comes from the word "Awareness" which is the opposite of "Ignorance", so, I just selected the four letters from the end of it and made them backwards. Ssen > Ness.
So, is Ssen bad or good?
I think he would be Chaotic Neutral, the reason is that he loves destroying, sure, he's mentally unstable, yeah, but he also has to do everything Ink says, and, Ink is most likely good, so...he doesn't have much else to do than do what he is told.
Can I write, do fanarts, do headcanons and such for Ssen?
YES, ABSOLUTELY YES, and tag me so I can see it <D
What are exactly the issues Ssen developed while being alone for who knows how long?
Depression, Schizophrenia, Autophobia and a few physical tics, such as punching out of nowhere or moving his head in some weird manners. He had the tics since he was a kid.
What is his soul trait? What are his pronouns? How old is he? What's his sexuality?
His soul trait is, surprisingly, leading to the JUSTICE side. His pronouns are He/They/It but usually just uses He/him. He is 27 years old, a bit younger than original Sans. His sexuality is Gay and Demi-aromantic, he is also polyamorous ♡
What abilities does he have then?
He can teletransport, he can use levitation filled by his purple magic, he have the magical knife who can be used as a regular knife too, and he can throw little rubbers filled by his orange magic. Not much more, he's kinda weak in abilities, however he's REALLY fast and strong. And quite good in agility too. So, you better not encourage him in a physical fight, you might lose.
Relationships?
Nightmare and Ssen are close friends, the type of friend who you go to for an advice but at the same time, the type of 'Dad' friend.
Chan (The Goddess of Unpredictability) and Ssen are also close friends, their dynamic is prayer and god who became friends basically. They chill sometimes and they do mix up pretty well. (Chan by @3nergy-spirit ♡)
Murder/Dust and Ssen are good teammates, they usually team when they are going to attack the same AU or smth. They just convine each other's movements to success.
Killer and Ssen are also good teammates, they usually help the other out if they were hurt or they were surrounded by the enemy.
Error and Ssen are friends but, the type like "only call me if something really important happens", so, yeah.
Horror and Ssen are good friends, they always hang out and go to calm places for Horror's mind and hungriness to silence. They also like to meet with Farm and help him with his work or go to Sweettale and mess up with Mint a bit.
Cross and Ssen are enemies, along with Dream, Swap, Fell and Classic.
Ink and Ssen are friends but not that close, they need to catch up a bit and hang out a bit more ...

Yeah, I ship him with Horror sometimes so, go crazy ☆
