So why does a Habs fan from New York root for the ECHL Utah Grizzlies anyway?

"He ranks fourth in the ECHL with a .919 save percentage and is second in the ECHL with four shutouts. His six shutouts the last two seasons tie him for second all-time in Grizzlies history, one in back of Tommy Salo who had seven."

“Igor Bobkov of the Utah Grizzlies is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 30-April 5. It is the second time this season, the second time in the last seven weeks and the fourth time in his career, that he was won the weekly honor.
Bobkov went 2-0 with one shutout, a 0.50 goals-against average and a save percentage of .987 last week as the Grizzlies swept a crucial two-game series against Alaska at Maverik Center. He stopped 76 of 77 shots faced.
The 24-year-old made 37 saves in a 4-1 win on Friday as he carried a shutout into the final two minutes before Alaska scored six-on-five with an extra attacker. He stopped all 39 shots he faced in a 3-0 win on Saturday, giving Utah a three-point lead for the final playoff spot in the Pacific Division entering the final week of the season.
Under contract to the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League, and called up to the Ducks twice this season, Bobkov finished second in the ECHL last season with a 2.04 goals-against average and was tied for fifth with a .921 save percentage. He is 35-20-6 with six shutouts in 61 career appearances with the Grizzlies.”
