Oh, I got a crossover idea! What if Ilya Rozanov and Igor Grom are childhood friends because their cop fathers are coworkers and friends? And when Igor's dad is killed he's raised by the Rozanovs? Or just make them biological brothers.

I think two Russian teen boys coming to terms with their bisexuality while growing up in a cop family would be interesting.

Also how Ilya pursues a hockey career abroad and Igor becomes a cop in Russia. How Ilya now has a connection to Russia after his father dies because of Igor. While his relationship with his canon brother is still terrible.

Eventual Ilya/Shane (and temporary Ilya/Svetlana) and Yulia/Igor Grom/Sergey Razumovsky. Oh, maybe Svetlana/Yulia could be a ship?? I think that could be cool.
