He'd first noticed her when Scott and his gang of angst were shooting her their, practically trademark, foreboding glances. Usually when someone who played a major key in the supernatural came into town, it was pretty easy to tell who it was. Pfft, no wonder Danny already knew. So that meant Sam's goal would be to get close to her, maybe date her, just keep her within arms reach. Getting to know the enemy is a key point in being an Omega, one that packs normally don't consider as its somewhat dangerous.

And so that was how he managed to find himself in a cafe, in a part of Beacon Hills he'd never been to. She chose a table two seat behind him, easy to glance at from Sam's seat, what with a mirror right in front of him. Now the hard part, making friends, which even if Sam was charming as hell, it would take a lot more then charming to get information out of her.

Which is why the key to friendship between lines, whatever line he was on, was answering, not asking.

So he swooped up behind her at the counter, ordering, silent as night, before slamming down a twenty.
