The beginning
My first childhood memory was when I was 2 years old. I remember going to get my ears pierced. It hurt alot and it made my ear burn, but there was alot of adults watching me, so I swore to myself that I would not cry as long as someone was watching me. The second ear hurt, but I did not cry, I wasn't going to give anyone the satisfaction of seeing me hurt and cry like a normal 2 year old should. I guess I've always been stubborn...LOL. I did get a sucker afterwards and the lady told me how brave I was. The people watching me alslo commented on how I didn't cry. Score for me! How do I remember this? I've always had a good memory, but I was determined at this particular time to not cry that the memory stuck with me.
