@igraineofcornwall liked for a starter !!!
Morgan watched the sun set against the coast && for once, she felt a smile pull her rose petal lips upward gently. The child’s fingers curled around the corners of the stones that made up the ramparts && she took pleasure in the soft breeze tossing her loose hair. ❝ How long do you think the heat will last, mother? ❞ she asked with a small voice in reference to the uncharacteristic warmth of the season.

“Lady Igraine, it has been quite some time since you’ve graced Camelot with your presence.”

Getting to Know You

“Animal. Sort of. Thank you, Igraine.” Maldoon smiled gently at the young woman. He could be a good husband again. He just had to try. She deserved his best efforts to do so. He felt...awkward about their age difference. Hesitant about her lack of choice. He’d tried to offer her choice-she could remain home for a better suitor. Instead she’d accompanied him to Moss Island.
“Ah, not one of my twenty-well unless you want to count it, but, I’d prefer you didn’t,” Maldoon was sheepish as he spoke, “Favorite fruit?”
"Look, I just don't think this is working."
"Why would you say that?" Arthur asked, raising an eyebrow at the woman. "I thought things were going quite well, honestly." Arthur frowned then. "Don’t give up just yet!"
“Hush, go back to sleep.”(Lynett)
“I thought I heard something... Were you leaving?”

Morgan eyed the courtiers around her && noticed with satisfaction that many kept a weary distance between themselves && their queen. Her spies told her that the commoners called her the “ Queen of Air and Darkness “ or if they sided with that idiot, Uriens, “ Witch “. She didn’t care either way as she had firmly established her rule in her domain now . . . it was a small consolation. The eyes that beheld the court in front of her were older than the youthful face betrayed . . . her face remained unmarked by the trials that she had endured && she retained an energy that was similar to one in their prime. But it was all a lie . . . an enchantment to make sure that she wasn’t perceived as weak. Morgan had lost everything . . . her family, her heart, her son . . . all she had left was her meager holdings; ones that she had to retain by being respected. That’s where the enchantment came in . . . her vassals needed to regard her as an equal && as one to be feared, even if she was called a witch behind her back. A guard moved to her side && told his queen that there was someone to see her; someone she had not expected to see ever again. ❝ Show her in. At once. ❞ she commanded && the hall fell silent as the courtiers strained to see who had come to visit the queen.
