hi oomf i have ✋ a question. in the shiver/frye/big man splatfest whose team did you joibn........................
i'm a FRYE WARRIOR 4EVER!!!!! shes my fave of the trio and i typically go with her team unless its something im Particularly Opinionated On (like the money VS fame VS love 'fest)
it effectively is my current job, unfortunately -_- ive only worked at one other place, which was holiday help at gamestop when i was 18. they didnt pay me for 2 months and the manager was a weird alt-right bro + the bathroom was so full of consoles the toilet couldnt be sat on. so. at least at my current place i get paid on time.
6. what's your go-to recipe when you want to make something that requires minimal effort?
MINIMAL minimal effort is usually beef ramen with sesame oil and an egg. if i have the energy to do a little chopping, its rice with sausage, onion, and tomato sauce! with a steamed egg or not sometimes
7. are you married or do you intend to get married?
not legally married but i do call my girlfriend my wife. ceremonies aren't a thing i super enjoy (and i basically can't invite most of my family to anything, im not out to them and never will be (willingly, anyways)) but if it was something she wanted we could work something out
8. do you have kids? do you want them?
not yet! theres a lot of logistics to having a kid but i am no longer against the idea as i was in my teens. not being a teenager + realizing i liked women helped a lot
25. would you rather own a dishwasher or a laundry machine if you could only have one or the other?
LAUNDRY MACHINE i already hand wash all our dishes and i struggle to do my laundry consistently even WITH the amenities easily available. if i had to go out and use quarters and shit and make a whole day of it i dont think id ever get anything done
what is that anthology of the killer game btw i see U posting about it and it seems interesting :?
OHHHHH YAYY an opportunity to talk about The Killer!
anthology of the killer (as An Anthology) is a finalized collection of 9 games following main character BB through instances in her life as a zine writer. she narrates each game (diegetically) and it is more of a "walking simulator" game in that largely you're just going through each chapter and seeing how she feels about the things that happen to and around her. its a comedy horror (with more emphasis on comedy) with a lot of very charming and entertaining characters.
im personally a big fan of the anthology rather than playing each game separately because it really gives a sense of how the games got more detailed and developed in terms of their story and gameplay as they went on! the first and last chapters are very different in scale.
the art direction, writing style, and music ended up being extremely up my alley and its in my top 10 favorite games at the very least. maybe top 5 even

ooh this one's hard bc im TRYING to break free of the "t shirt and jeans with NOTHING" lifestyle... im amassing more floral print shirts and enjoying a jirt (jean skirt) wave atm! not big on jewelry though i can do a small bracelet or necklace and thats usually it
Green Turtle: Your favorite band/musician?
i guess by sheer amount of discography listened to, it'd have to be marina and the diamonds? im a lot more partial to individual songs rather than being Fan Of The Musician themselves though. i do also like everything ive heard by desert sand feels warm at night
hi oomfie you seem to know about fabric and crochet and things like that so i wanted to ask if u have any like, resources or advice or tips or anything for that kind of stuff, both in general (always been curious) and specifically because i have a lot of scrap denim right now (been cutting old jeans into shorts) and don't know what to do with it or how to turn it into something cool, so if u have any ideas or wisdom or can point me in the direction of a good resource that would be #awesome ^_^
ooh crafting advice yayyy! i have a LITTLE advice for sewing and a bit more for crochet! and a couple of resources for both! this might be a bit long but i can break down anything you might need :3 putting the rest under a cut!
for the thing i know a bit less about, sewing! i pretty much only watched this video on it and the basic running stitch has carried me decently far! this would probably be the best thing you can do with denim scraps, it's good to practice on scrap fabric and if you have enough you can possibly make a pillow out of them! or if you want to widen your long pants, you can cut along the seam (a seam ripper helps, but if you dont already have one little scissors are good) and then sew the new denim into place. hand sewing is a bit tedious, but it's very accessible. i dont know how to use a sewing machine so i cant help with that.
as for crochet, i know a lot more, and by that i mean im maybeeeee intermediate at it? i started learning with these videos and you can make a lot with just basic squares and circles. it's a really easy way to add more decoration to your living space in my experience! aluminum hooks and acrylic yarn are both cheap and good for beginners (in my area its ~$3 for a hook, and the cheapest yarns are about the same price for 364 yards). i would recommend starting with a 5 or 6mm hook and bright yarn if you give it a shot, as it makes your stitches easier to see. also, there is a split difference between US and UK crochet terms, so make sure you know which ones are being used in a tutorial/pattern
you can also practice basic sewing with your crochet and a tapestry needle, and it's a bit more forgiving since there's built in spaces between the stitches. for both crafts, making sure you're keeping the right amount of tension in your stitches is important, but thats just kind of something you have to feel out once you have your materials.
also you might need an account but ravelry is a godsend irt crochet/knitting patterns. idk anything about knitting tho i cant do it
