Please feel free to ignore me, but I was wondering if you might consider composing an image post for the Caducean Hound for your Fallen London Species series? I am having trouble explaining to a friend what its vibes are exactly, between the horror and the roses, and your work is so good I immediately went looking in that tag in case you might have already done it in the past. Have you read Professor Moriarty and the Hound of the D'Urbervilles? I get the feeling you might like it a lot. It's basically told as an academic publishing the "long lost" memoirs of Moriarty's Watson, Sebastian Moran, who is an absolute roaring bastard but in a charming way. You get to see Moriarty invent science fiction for mathematics-based revenge! It is VERY good.

No, I have not. For now I stick to ACD Holmes and the Sherlock Holmes Chapter One/Frogwares realm as my area of Holmes interest. I haven't read any of the pastiches.

It's a great recommendation, though, and maybe someone else can discover it now!

I saw that option on the storylet! I thought that was the item dear ol’ Mr Sacks would offer in addition to the Cinder, glad to know my instincts were right. It’s definitely tempting, although I can’t really afford to spend money on Fate right now. :/ And I think the Christmas option for a Fur Robe costs less Fate (although from what I recall, you miss out on a chance for more lacre with the option), so I might just wait for December to roll around again before I snag one. We’ll see!
