Our children having a good time not worrying about death…
“I’m alright.”
He wasn’t used to other people crying. As a boy, he was the one that shed the tears, usually. Tears out of frustration, anger, sadness...always tears. Despite the uneasiness he was concerned.
“Are you, alright?”
“I’m alright.”
She always seemed so strong and stoic around him. He was sure she had her moments but they were never around him, probably to keep him at ease. It was both frightening and reassuring. “Sansa?”
She was quick to reply, invisible armor put on as she denied any hardship. He sighed, not really sure what to say.
“It’ll be alright,” he wasn’t sure what was wrong but he had to believe that whatever it was could only be temporary.
“What’s wrong?” (from the grumpy uncle blackfish ofc)
The back of his hand came up to wipe the tears from his eyes. He knew the Blackfish didn’t much appreciate crying and the last thing Robin wanted to do was agitate the old man he had so much respect for. He picked up the scroll on the table with the broken seal of Arryn and handed it to Brynden, straightening his back to stand taller and take the heartbreak with a stoic demeanor, as he was taught.
“Mother is dead.”
“What’s wrong?”
It was his first time away from the Vale. He did not find Winterfell unkind but even as a young man in the eyes of many, there was still so much he had yet seen. The tears that formed along his ducts were of awe and a little gratification.
“I’m just...grateful to be here is all.”
You have me shipping Robin and Sansa!
Ah, Nonnie you are not alone.
Though I respect all forms of their relationship (platonic included) I have to admit I ship it too. It is book canon that Robin expresses multiple times he wants to marry Alayne (Sansa). Luckily, in westerosi law relationships between cousins is not taboo so my shame is minimum concerning this verse.
Sansa smoothed his hair while he rests on her lap, “Shhh don’t get up. We’re safe now. You can rest. I’ll be here when you wake.”
He struggled to maintain his breath but he tried to follow her voice. She spoke with soothing words and he found himself feeling secure again. “Promise?” he didn’t need to ask; she always was true to her words. Before he could think much of it, his breathe and heart steadied and soon enough he was asleep.
Lysa who? Sansa is Robin’s mother. Idk who you’re talking about
What’s a Lysa?
