what's show by rock about?
the story is about Cyan, a gothic lolita cat girl, who was recently scouted by a talking egg (Maple Arisugawa) and joined a band called Plasmagica.
she lives in MIDICITY where bands battle each other for popularity, the thing is Cyan came form another world to fulfill a mission : getting rid of the dark monsters who attacks bands during their concert.
it might look like a cheap moe anime at first and tbh thats what i thought before watching it. its funny alright but it also has deep characters as well as serious and dark episodes, the animation is nice and the musics are amazing so if you plan to watch it please do!
its also based on a rhythm game called show by rock!! where you can play songs you dont hear in the anime!
