A programmer by the name of Robert Dale Smith has just put a beta version of his new app on the Chrome Web Store, and it’s a pretty cool idea. The app, called Chromemote, lets you use the Google Chrome browser as a remote control for your Google TV box. If you’re a fan of sitting on your couch with your laptop while watching TV, this is going to make your life slightly better than it was yesterday.
