The morning birds were singing signaling the start of a brand new day. My eyelids fluttered open and I was greeted by the sight of my silent prince. He looks an innocent as always. My mind wonders off to the exhilarating night we had and I felt the heat rising up to me cheeks. Ivana! Get a hold of yourself! Regaining my composure I gave Ren a little peck on the lips before trying to slip out of bed.
“… Don’t go.” Before I knew it Ren’s arms were wrapped around my waist pulling me back into bed. “Ren..!” I was shocked I didn’t know he was already awake. “Can we stay here for the rest of the day?” He spun me around in his arms and faced me with his beautiful eyes. Urgh… those puppy eyes again… I have lost round after round when battled against them but today was going to be the exception. “We can’t. We both have work today. You’re going to be late if you don’t get going!” I tried to resist and pulled myself away but that only made him hold on tighter.
“Then 10 more minutes…” Ren then proceeded to snuggle his head against my hair. I let out a little chuckle and stroked his hair. “Alright. But we’ll have to get going after 10 alright.” Tucking my head into his chest, I could feel his warmth spreading across my face. “I love you Ivana.” Ren mumbled out, despite it being half audible, I knew it was from the heart. “I love you too Ren.”
