When Dr. Conners did that experiment on Inigo that caused him to be that hybrid were tiger beast, there were probably all sorts of ramifications that Inigo didn't account for when combining his DNA with ANIMAL DNA. While he might not have been the wielder of the amulet though, he was training for it so his body is handling the experiment better than it would for a regular human but Iker kind of helping him try to wrangle control to the tiger DNA side. But imagine Iker seeing and confronting that hybrid animal-beast side of Inigo and because its pure instinct, it recognizes Iker's scent as an apex predator and growls and attacks and while Iker doesn't think even that'd be enough to kill him, he will admit that some of his attacks did hurt a lot more than usual and that he just falls onto his back and whimpers, just to appeal to Inigo's animal brain and letting it know that he submits to him. Which works as the Beast-Hybrid Inigo just purrs softly in satisfaction and climbs on top of Iker, Iker just digging his finger tips into the ground to silence the sound of his claws unsheathing in case it doesn't work but then he suddenly feels Inigo's rough sand paper tounge on his neck as he starts to bite it and he starts to go back to his original form and he's purring. Iker is STILL confused by what the fuck is going on before he shoves off Inigo and stands up and he's all: "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO YOURSELF!?"

And while having that primal animal side is good, you still need the intelligence and restraint of a human to control it so Iker just kind of helping Inigo control that side of him because he's already a victim to acting out on his own rage and Iker just doesn't really like that side of him because it feels like a mockery of his own perfect apex predator biology (like the best way I can describe Iker's feelings was if a natural wild animal was to meet some wierd man-made artificial animal, the wild animal would experience an uncanny Valley feeling and become instantly defensive because it recognizes that the artificial animal is not truly one of them).

But yeah, Inigo grumbling to Iker that he doesn't need the training and that he's fine. Or he just shoves Iker and tells him that he doesn't need shit from Iker and that just because he was designed to be the "the perfect biological weapon" doesn't mean he gets to tell Inigo what he can or can't do with his own DNA. So whenever Inigo does become that or his artificial DNA activates, Iker lowkey falling back into the shadows during the fight and he just prowls around cautiously because yes, Inigo might be fighting the enemy but Iker is a scientist and wants to observe Inigo's new abilities for himself to be able to make theories and tests, but he also doesn't know how much Inigo is able to hold back because even tigers can kill their own mates for various reasons. At the end if it, Inigo smirking and immediately looking at Iker's hiding spot and he's all: "Aw, Gatito, did I scare you up there?~" and he sees Iker's glowing eyes just staring at him before Iker slowly walks into the shadows and dissapears and Inigo frowns and furrows his brows but shrugs it off.

AS MUCH AS A BITCH AS INIGO IS, Iker would still do his sexy consent thing but God, the way that even when he's being a straight up slut—he'd STILL want to make sure he and Inigo are on the same page and that Inigo is having just as good of a time as him. So like, when they're about to hook up, either Inigo and Iker just making out, grinding against each other, and/or generally just Inigo and Iker starting to get into a fight only to end up with Inigo biting at Iker's neck or ripping off Iker's clothes. Iker doesn't stop Inigo and have a soft "Do I have your consent?" Moment—INSTEAD, it's more like Inigo just already pinning Iker to the bed, ripping Iker's expensive clothes off his body, their crotches grinding against each other as Inigo leaves bite marks and hickies all over Iker's neck and Iker purrs and is all: "Mmm, you want me, Nigo?" And Inigo ignores him of course so Iker rolls his eyes before he rolls on top of Inigo but he still exposes his neck so Inigo can keep biting at it bht now his HUGE THIGH IS BETWEEN INIGO'S LEGS as he purrs: "Don't make me guess, Cariño, let me hear it from your own words~ cause I want you too." So Inigo groans a "yes" and Iker grins flips them over.

BUT THE WAY THEY'LL BE GOING AT IT AND EVEN WHEN IN PURE HORNY MODE, Iker would still have the mindset to talk to Inigo like: " Te ves muy bonito cuando tomas el control/You’re very pretty when you take charge.~" or he's all: "Mmm, I like this position, papí~ You feel good too?" Or he's all: "You handle me so good, Nigo~ Am I behaving well for you?" And even things like: "Let me know if you want me to adjust...but if you want to force me to obey, I'm not complaining either~"

AND IKER LIKES DIRTY TALK, he likes Inigo degrading him but he also likes to hear how Inigo feels using Iker's body for his pleasure so he'll goad Inigo into talking. Not even for praise, degradation works just as nicely but he likes learning about his partners. So even when horny and absolutely cock drunk, Iker moaning into Inigo's neck as he's all: "F-Feels s'good inside me, Nigo. Do I feel good for you?~" or he hums and is all: "H-Haa~ You feel how nicely you fit? My body remembers you so well~ Do you remember how to handle it?"

For Liago and Ikigo—SO MACHETES ARE A HUGE PART OF PUERTO RICAN CULTURE, the specific style is Puyero and it's a symbol of PR resilience, self-reliance, and the rhythmic changing of machetes is used in the background and such. They use it in certain daily life aspects like farming or when natural disasters hit, they can use it to break debris, or think vegetation in the PR. BUT HEAR ME OUT:

Inigo's main weapon being a machete BUT THIAGO ALSO OWNS A MACHETE and like, it makes sense for both of them—ESPECIALLY THIAGO, LIKE MAYBE THE INCÓGNITO'S HAVE A MACHETE THEY PASS DOWN THAT HE USES TO CUT MEATS. But also, like, I love the idea that Inigo would have an absurd collection and Iker is all: "I can't tell if you're overcompensating in the fear factor or if you're just really Puerto Rican." And Inigo grins and goes: "Why can't it be both?~"

Meanwhile, Lonan is watching a horror movie by himself and stuff, Thiago is working downstairs. THEN, LIKE, THIAGO IS ASKING LONAN WHAT MEAT HE WANTS HIM TO MAKE and he taps his shoulder and Lonan turns around—SEES A BIG DARK FIGURE WITH A GODDAMN MACHETE AND JUMPS AND THIAGO HAS TO BE ALL: "Oh, right, non-Puerto Ricans don't just casually have machetes, sorry-"

Ikigo thoughts, bro.

Iker does like to both antagonize and do his little consensual check-ins with Inigo. I also think that Iker will be more physically affectionate with Inigo the same way he messes with his mom by being affectionate, like he's recreating normal displays of affection knowing damn well he doesn't experience them but in a teasing way. He won't do it in public obviously but when they're alone or plotting together—Iker will rest his chin on Inigo's shoulder as Inigo is hunting something, he'll ocassionally sneak up behind him and nip at him—which Inigo snarls back at and scoffs, or he'll draped himself over Inigo and because of that ANNOYING ASS REBALANCE REFLEX? Iker always lands gracefully when Inigo pushes him off. Sometimes he'll just unsheathe his claws a little and slightly dig them into Inigo's hips as he nuzzles his face into Inigo's neck and purrs.

IT DOESN'T HELP THAT IKER IS PROBABLY LARGE AS HELL but ugh, the way he talks to Inigo knowing he's annoying or riling him up is so good. Like when Inigo and Iker are alone, I love the idea of Iker just prowling from the shadows before he wraps his arms around Inigo's waist and lightly bites the back of his neck as he's all: "Still mean? Good.~" or when Inigo is sharpening or preparing his weapons after Thiago BEAT him again—Iker just sits behind him and leans his weight on Inigo and goes: "You're feeling territorial. About what?" And Inigo snarls and Iker chuckles softly. He'll press his chest against Inigo as well, like a big cat testing another big cat's space. But because it's Iker, he naturally likes to feed into Inigo's ego only to starve it.

Like he and Inigo are hunting their little brothers and they manage to find them and Inigo gives a plan on how to seperate them and Iker grins and goes: "Ah, muy bien, mi cazador~ That was almost enough to justify your ego." And Inigo glares but then they seperate to enact the plan. Or like, IKER'S MULTISPECIES SENSES can help him predict and anticipate Inigo so when Inigo tries to stalk, Iker is all: "Nigo~ I know you're there, mi amor." And Inigo growls before stepping out of the shadows and Iker just smirks with that damn handsome smile and goes: "Your pride enters the room before you do. Y luego entras tú, todo bonito." But yeah, Iker will often times be invasively affectionate but if he notices something is truly wrong with Inigo then he tilts his head and silently observes because he doesn't want to save his soul. He wants to see if Inigo can survive himself.

HEAR ME OUT FOR THE IKER AND INIGO DYNAMIC THOUGH, again—they're not officially together or a thing but what if one of the reasons of why they're so complicated is that because of Iker's Apex Cognition, he's actually able to understand Inigo's instinctual tiger side better, he still thinks it's really stupid that he did that, but IKER LITERALLY IS ABLE TO UNDERSTAND HUMAN CONCEPTS BUT HIS THINKING IS LITERALLY THAT OF AN APEX PREDATOR SPECIALIZED FOR MUTANTKIND. So he's curious to see if he can at least provide assistance to Inigo by having him become a human mind that must now LEARN HOW TO CO-EXIST WITH ANIMAL INSTINCT AND TO LET GO OF HIS HUMAN EXCEPTIONALISM and embrace a more non anthropocentric way of life in order to be at peace with his human side.

Naturally, Iker isn't doing this out of the kindness of his heart and hopes that once he can have Inigo AT LEAST live relationally both with his human and tiger side and I think instead of treating Inigo with contempt, Iker would treat him with fascination and amused curiosity. But he's drawn to Inigo because he wants to learn if Inigo can become something worthy...or if he'll be torn apart by his own instincts, either result is fine by him. But Iker would respect Inigo this time, even if he doesn't fully agree with him because Inigo commits: he studies prey, he understands pursuit, he shapes himself around the catch, he is willing to alter his body and life for the hunt, and he can endure humiliation and still come back sharper.

So Iker would want to refine Inigo to be a better hunter, not out of love, but in a playful way of being all: "Can you be something that forces me to evolve?" And Iker makes Inigo a better hunter while Inigo keeps Iker's interest and fascination.

Thinking about Lonan and Thiago and how Lonan has 100% found Thiago's "spot". Like, they were cuddling and Lonan was feeling him up and massaging him and then he finds Thiago's spot that makes him feel good and Thiago purring him and nuzzling into his chest and stuff. Like he purrs and kisses Lonan's neck and just hugs him and clings to him and Lonan just laughs because it's kind of tickling him.

I KNOW MARCOS LOVES IT WHEN SUMI SCRATCHES HIS SPOT WITH HER NAILS. Like, he was taking a nap and Sumi was petting him but then she found his spot and he started purring really loudly. I CAN IMAGINE HER EYES LIGHTING UP AS HIS EARS STARTED TWITCHING and he has the cutest smile on his face (it looks murderous to other people but Sumi thinks its cute). She doesn't let him know he has one because she knows he has a tough guy act to keep up but in private, her big boy just laying on her as she scratches his spot.

AS FOR INIGO AND IKER, they def found each other's spots during a hook up session. They will never use it publicly but whenever Inigo is raging and not in a sexy way that Iker likes, Iker just scratching underneathe his chin and Inigo purrs but then he shoves Iker away as Iker laughs. As for Iker, his spot is behind his ear so Iker being mad at him and not wanting to hook up for him until he apologizes but Inigo just scratching his spot and it works a little before Iker remembers why he's mad and BITES him.
