OH HEY there sweet, sweet Ghost Pipe, Monotropa uniflora, hanging right in the city of Rochester. happy that the rains have blessed this land with so much moisture every inch of the earth is erupting with fungi and their lush plant friends. it feels good to be surrounded by fungi like when i first began my relationship with them. sadly over the years, it has been drier and drier and less fungal diversity comes out, this year, i saw some old friends, thankfully. more on that next time… you can find me next month in August zipping around, teaching, cooking and creating space. got one more week at the @theluckyflea ! find me there this Sunday! next weekend i’m headed south to @mycofest ! then the following week Im up in the precious #adirondacks helping host the @traditionalknowledgegathering with so many loved ones.
