@ilianquisition for babey and her +1 eldritch
It seemed a bit redundant to seek out the Nyarlathotep that resided within the girl, considering both of them were a part of the same hive mind, but that only made him more curious as to what sort of effects the child must have had on it’s being. No two things could intermingle without leaving the other changed, and he intended to find humanity’s contribution to the other...if it did exist at all.
But he couldn’t let Lathna know that-she’d be frightened.
And he couldn’t let Curran know either-he’d be furious.
So instead they needed an...organic means if interacting, the child and him. Lathna. He really aught to use her name, hm?
“Has no one offered to patch your friend?” He made a gesture towards her stuffed bear. “I’m quite handy with a needle, if you’d like?”
“U-Uncle Henry said curses were okay!!!!!! Don’t leave me alone! I’m sorry!!!!”
@ilianquisition replied to your post: (Reminder that Claude… Wears heeled boots)
they’re probably riding boots, considering he’s a wyvern rider class. heel keeps the foot in the stirrup.
(Very possible. But that’s his pre-timeskip portrait. His post-timeskip does not have the heels as obvious. In fact... it does not even look like he has heels whatsoever in his post-timeskip portrait)
@ilianquisition
Hey, he’d seen that guy! There were new friends in the Halidom- the scary one and this guy, who wasn’t scary if only for one thing-
Rawn pointed at Curran’s forehead suddenly.
“Friend has star.”
@ilianquisition
"Stop where you are, you faker! I’m not messing around!” Axe in hand, Curran appeared to mean it -- because how else did one react to seeing their own doppleganger? Not with a handshake, that was for sure.
At best, this was some experiment of Heinwald’s. At worst, it was illusory mischief by someone who wished him harm. Although... Curran had to question the sense in inflicting him with identity theft instead of the simple bodily harm that most of his targets relied on...
“You can’t be thinking it’s a good idea to impersonate an inquisitor of the church,” he added, pointing an accusatory finger at the man. “What’s your goal here? Because I’m not about to let you get away now.”
“Don’t worry, Curran! Your axe isn’t that heavy.” Never mind the fact it weighs as much as she does. That’s a small detail. Although compared to the one hand she usually uses...she does need two hands for this.

“Put it back, put it back, PUT IT BACK!”
Panic! at the rp meme
“Alright, alright- would you please quiet down? Honestly, if desecrating their tomb didn’t arouse the spirits here, your yelling certainly will.”
If anything would anger a spirit, it was probably the gestures Hein made with the skull in hand, clattering the jaws together like a castanet.
Spirits, however, weren’t the problem. The blob of dark matter convulsing in the stone casket was, drawing itself together behind the detective’s back. Actually, it was a little odd- Curran wasn’t even staring at the bone when he said that, he was staring past him…
Heinwald turned, only to crane his neck to properly see the beast of sludge, convulsing under it’s slowly gathering mass.
“Scheiße.” He muttered to himself, glancing between it and the skull. Putting it back didn’t seem like much of an option anymore.
