No Words - Kikasa

Happy Birthday iliata! I hope I didn’t post this before you logged off! Anyways I hope today was an great day for you and that you had fun celebrating another year of life!

A captain should be strong. He should be able to hold his head high when facing his team. He should be able to shoulder the burden of losing while boosting his teams spirits. 

Kasamatsu Yukio could do that. He always had. He had been called strong by some of the other captain. A few even called him brave! So how come when faced with Kise he found that his knees would go weak, and his palms would become sweaty, and he couldn’t find his voice.

It was his last year here at Kaijo, and he wanted to be able to tell Kise how he felt about him. It was humiliating to say the least. Maybe everyone else didn’t pick up what was going on, but he himself knew and that was bad enough. It was almost as bad as when he talked with girls.

School came and went, and he found that he hadn’t been able to tell him. He stayed silent even when he came back for vacations. He figured that if he couldn’t say anything now, then his feeling would fade eventually. 

No such luck. Every they met up, he felt himself falling in love all over again. And it sure as hell didn’t get better after college. Kise had just finished highschool and his modeling career was blowing up. His face was everywhere! All the while, Kasamatsu still wasn’t able to say anything. The time when he thought Kise was about to say it for him, he had cut him off. 

He was a coward!

No matter how many times he talked himself through it, not matter how determined he was, he always back out at the the last second.

His resolve came a few years later. He was well established in his job now getting close to his mid thirties and Kise was starting to branch off into different mediums of entertainment. While reflecting on far they had come when they had gone out to dinner to catch up, he recalled how he was a man of action not words.

So, in someways it made since that he was more at eased when he kissed Kise on the way home. When words escaped him he could always act on his feelings. Kise was the same, and kissed him back just as eagerly, pulling Kasamatsu closer.

They knew what the other was trying to say.
