to the anon asking about meds when they're away. I'm also from the uk and I have had no issues with getting extra meds for going away (although Ive never asked for so many). You mentioned it's because it's seen as a risk, If you have a psychologist/therapist maybe ask them to write a letter to your gp saying how they feel about the perceived risk. Or if someone will be away with you maybe tell the gp that they will keep your meds and only give you them when required? Hope you get it sorted
