Just a quick PSA: over the weekend, I’m going to be posting a bunch of old photos of my old horse, Roma. It’s been two years since he retired, and I went on a nostalgia trip and found a heap of buried photos. For those of you not following me for equestrian/horsey stuff, all of those will be tagged ‘Roma’ and ‘equestrian’.

all i can think of is just me sending “we need to build many birdhouses” to my friend. oh yes also i dressed up as the grim reaper and scared someone older than me into giving me candy at school

6: Best horse show accident/fail?
So when i was younger I had a horse called Maddy (we still have her actually shes retired now but shes the best) and I was at a show and the way the show was organised is that the had the under 123cm and the 123-128cm first ridden classes alternating, so i had a few breaks between classes. I was talking with another girl in my class and I think we started talking about how fast our ponies were and long story short I raced another girl at full gallop on a tiny pony at a horse show. Mom was mad but it was still fun.
9: Weirdest thing your trainer has ever done?
I’ve had many different instructors and I remember one of them always wore knee high socks on the outside of his joddies.
20: Favorite discipline/event to watch?
I love going to jumping days and watching the horses do jumps that are taller than me after I’ve finished all my classes.
