 I'm thrilled that I can announce that my new artbook  Beneath the Leaves - Field Notes from the Undergrowth,  is now Live on KICKSTARTER!  

  Over the past few years, I have been exploring a world inhabited by small redheaded people, hidden in the woods . My alter ego, the Crafty Witch, is inviting you to dive into their daily lives in Beneath the Leaves - Field Notes from the Undergrowth, an art book where I collected everything I know about these small folk. All the illustrations and sketches I have done of them are presented as a field guide, a scrapbook for you to leaf through to discover their lifestyle, their crafts and the adventures they constantly get up to.  

Illustrating the Small People being so crafty and creative has often led me deeper into my own creativity. It has pushed me to create artworks using mixed media and paper crafting drawings. In this art book, I hope to take you on a creative journey that inspires your own world and captures your imagination. 

The book contains 196 pages (possibly more since I keep drawing my small people) assembled with care to detail, thinking of a scrapbook to collect their lives in and reflecting the crafty nature. 

I am also very happy and proud that Sue Rahel, amazing artist and friend, is writing the foreword of the book!

I'm thrilled that I can announce that my new artbook “Beneath the leaves” is finally coming to KICKSTARTER!

This book is all about my small people packed with my sketches and artworks that explore their world and ways. I treat this book as a field guide to their world, me as a witness documenting in detail their lives and stories. The book contains 196 pages ( possibly more since I keep drawing my small people) assembled with care to detail, thinking of a scrapbook to collect their lives in and reflecting the crafty nature.

The campaign will go live in early October so make sure to get notified if you don’t want to miss the book! ❤️
