Liesel (38) - the eldest girl and first born, Liesel had a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. Her mother raised her as if she were going to be Emperor, so by the time that her siblings are born, she’s very protective of her family, and has a true sense of duty. Edelgard models herself after Liesel. Liesel was born without a crest.
liesel’s mother was kicked out of the imperial household due to liesel’s lack of a crest. there is a long gap of bastard children during this time, but no legitimate heirs, until....
Klara (33) - the second girl, Klara was born with the major crest of Serios, but Liesel had already proved herself a prodigy, so she instead focused a lot of her free time on reading and strategy. She was very close with Liesel, so she knew her older sister was stressed under the to be title of Emperor. She was the first sibling to die, of illness, as opposed to the tortures yet to come.
Sara (32) - the third girl, Sara liked to paint. She didn’t do much else, rather shy, but supporting her elder sister’s endeavors. She was the first failed surgery, dying second. she was born without a crest.
Pierre (27) - the first boy, and one of a set. He is the mischievous one, his antics having brought the family much joy. Peter died fourth, the surgery failing. he was born without a crest.
Konstantin (27) - peter’s younger twin, Konstantin was a very fashion focused boy. He did his sisters’ hair, as well as Peter’s, when he got over himself. He died soon after Peter, of a broken heart (more likely, exhaustion.) he was born with a minor crest of serios.
the second empress died soon after pierre and konstantin’s births, and ionius ends up having more affairs instead of remarrying because of his “bad luck” with wives. he remarries, and a year later:
Vera (23) - a hardy young girl, Vera had trained to be a warrior long before any of her other siblings even thought of it. She died second to last. She survived for five years, before eventually dying at age 15. she was born without a crest.
Theodor (21) - Another bookworm, Theodor was skilled in magic. He was a favorite of those who slither, because of his magical prowess, but eventually died, seventh. he was born without a crest.
Natalia (20) - Nat was the only truly pious member of the family, and slowly lost her mind, locked away, her prayers unanswered. Those Who Slither killed her out of mercy, or perhaps, because her surgery failed and she survived it. she was born without a crest
because the third empress failed to produce a crested heir, she too was exiled, and soon after he meets anselma, an eighteen year old girl at garreg mach. she is bitter and already power hungry. it should be noted she reached out to those who slither to join them. (it should be noted,
Edelgard (17) - the only survivor. she was locked away for 7 years, from age 9 to 16.
Eleanor (14) - the third to die, and the second failed surgery, Eleanor died at only age 6. eleanor had no crest.
Nikolai (10) - the sixth to die, but the first to die of starvation. He was only 2 years old, barely able to speak. nikolai had the minor crest of serios.
