i think the most evil thing about throwing up is that it immediately drains 90% of your energy
Baby steps!!!!
Sooo....
Starting off this year right by going to the ER :) .... :)
I’ve been having chest pain and shortness of breath for over a week now (started last wednesday). I’ve also had a dry cough. and when I went into my doctors office and mentioned this, she flipped her shit. I got flung into the hospital immediately. Which, they did seem me and get things done very fast and very efficiently. So props to them for that.
This was yesterday btw
But they made sure my heart wasn’t getting ready for a heart attack (no markers in my blood and my EKG was good. Blood pressure was wildly all over the place but, I have POTS thats not abnormal for me) and there were no signs of a clot or spots in my lungs. So all good! but zero reason for the pain or the cough. or the constant burping
I tried antacids like, first thing when this started. Didn’t help. My pain meds I take for my leg do kind of ease it. The pain shoots from my mid/left chest into my back and it’s very sharp and then will throb for a while. It’s worse when I’m up and around, talking. Hurts a lot if I lay on my left side. or put any kind of pressure on it. It’s stupidly sensitive.
They tried giving me a breathing treatment (I continued coughing) then had me drink a mix of magnesium and lidocaine, to see if it would numb the pain (numb the stomach I guess). It did not. So. After that they decided, well you’re not in any immediate danger, so you can leave. But they prescribed me coughing medication, pain meds (anti inflammatory), and two things for possible GERD or ulcer symptoms. Cause I’m literally burping. CONSTANTLY. its annoying. burping more than the coughing lol but my pain is so high up they were ??? about it being my stomach. but who knows.Bodies are stupid. it may be my stomach.
I have a follow up appointment with my primary on monday. the ER doctor wanted me to see if the medicine helps and if not, then I’m gonna probably have to see a cardiologist and a gastro dr. Since we dunno what it is. The neurologist (the one who originally sent me to the ER) said it could be my nerves doing what my leg is doing (FUCK. DO NOT) or something I don’t remember the name of where the lining of your lungs SPASM? so thats fun.
I’m just so X___X I have my disability hearing in two weeks and this happens. pls. body. PLEASE
I am exhausted my dudes
love taking insane amounts of medication and not feeling like i'm getting better. what now
Well that's even worse 😭😭😭
That's what I was afraid of. This is no joke and his health comes first. Don't worry Seb we're all behind you 🖤💛🖤💛
