not that he has none to speak of. of course he does. not for all of them, but for a good handful of them... or at least a solid few. nevertheless, he can, at the very least, appreciate the effort and the art of teaching another, many more riotous and stubborn than the teachers themselves ( save mcgonagall ). he runs a hand through his hair, waiting for his forehead to prickle in response. it doesn’t. not yet. but it will. it must. he has been gifted with this constant reminder of why they are doing what they are doing, why his ability to teach is so much more vital than his ability to be taught. in the end, it may just be the only thing that matters. no pressure, potter.

“ we’re making better progress than i expected really. ” ron preaches being wary of her, but harry isn’t in a position to be an adversary, not to those who wish to help. they’ll need all the help they can get. still, he understands. right outside of those doors, the enemy lurks, and they would do anything to unveil this secret. “ enough at least, i hope.”
