Yennefer never really trusted people very easily. She had been through a lot and seen too much to be able to easily trust a person that she had just met. Her features were slightly hardened as she moved her gaze to the woman across from her.
“Walk me through this. What are the reasons that I should listen to you and start to trust you?” She asked and tilted her head to the side slightly.
“No, I cannot say I do, but it seems I may be saddled with one nevertheless.” The Fade is what kept him, uthenera bought him time to heal, but his rest was finished. What comes next is the long march forward, through weeks and months and years, each moment as short as the next. Days are a whirlwind, but he is beginning to find his feet. Some days he wonders how much grey he would see, if he were allow his hair to grow. “In a manner of speaking, that is. I… doubt I will live long enough to know how many years there are left.”
Ohh! I’m always excited to provide these! (Will keep this mostly to Dragon Age / fantasy blogs, to keep with the theme of this blog.)
Under a cut, because I went a little overboard.
Mains
@pcrseverance; Klaus is the literal best. Only they can pick up a muse that I usually dislike (sorry, not sorry, Cullen) and make me absolutely love them.
@cxnvenit; has a great assemble of muses. I personally like their Cullen the most, but all of them are fantastic.
@chantrysworn; this Leliana is just… so so good.
@dryadalismagicae; I didn’t expect to ship Fenris and Lyrian as much as I do but… now I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.
@atonings; is such a good person and has so many good blogs and their Loghain is just Top Tier Good Shit.
@illstcrred; Malika Hawke is such an incredible Hawke, I really love her, and so does Fenris. She hasn’t been online for a long time and we miss her, but I still have good hopes she’ll come back (she always does) .
The affect the Red Lyriumpoisoning started to have on Fenris had already passed the stageof manifestation, his veins bulging and pulsing redunderneath his skin, bloodshot eyes, retracted gum andsharpened teeth.
The lyrium underneath his skin, once pure and undiluted, was now crystallized redand protruded from his skin at several areas as sharp and juttedspikes from his body.
Fenris' memory started to getmuddled (even more than it already was) and he had almostcompletely forgotten who he used to be. And this this womanwho always visited him...? Who was so full of warmth andkindness... who was she?
“Was I?” his voicewas much like a low growl, but there was something hopeful inhis red glowing eyes “I don't rememberwho I am.”
“Really? Your type of action is fights in a sewer?” Her tone sounded disbelieving as she tried to catch her breath. Moments before, Aoife had managed to roll out of harm’s way; her bowstring still pulled tautly and now aimed in the direction of the barely recognized Hawke. The bodies of Templars and mages lay on the ground around them, as if explaining why the woman was in the tunnels herself.
Another moment passed before she loosened her grip on the string and pointed her arrow towards the ground between them. “Wish you’d shown up a little sooner for it.”
