They think you're a GODSENT because you're one of (if not the only) one who is capable of fixing all the broken machinery that end up hauling back to Piramida (they simply cannot for the life of them figure out how this stuff works, look at our lightkeepers dawg 💔💔).
Not only that, you're also one of the only people who can force Illuga to take a break because he's so Whipped(tm) for you that he'll sometimes (keyword: sometimes) give in to your heartfelt pleading and agree to follow you to Aino's lecture. Ineffa's relentless chase doesn't 99% of the time because you aren't there to convince him. The 1% of time is actually works is when Ineffa does bring you with her to chase him down, so now he's got TWO people chasing him down like a Fatui agent hunting a late debtor. Run captain, run
