✅ What does the fandom usually get right?

i think one thing (even though it’s kind of obvious) is my appearance. i usually like how i’m drawn (as shadow) and i think people are good about that. -shadow

❌ What does the fandom usually get wrong?

my relationships with others, or at least the priorities i place on them. from my jjk source, the fandom doesn’t include nobara in the first year dynamic as much as she deserves or is a part of. in my sonic source, i think there’s too much of a focus on my relationship with sonic, even though it does tend to be fairly accurate. -shadow

🌸 Do you feel comfortable in your fiction-based identity?

it can be. rough. there’s this mix of… shame? almost? it’s sort of just a reman and of insecurity with existing in this world, i think, but sometimes i can be really uncomfortable with my identity. but i have a lot of very loving headmates who support me and make it easier :) -tsunghan

i’ve never really known anything else. it’s weird being here, sure, but i know myself and i have the people who are important to me here. -shadow

💗 What helps you feel closer to your source (in a positive way)?

definitely fanart!! there are some wonderful pieces that are just so warm and remind me of home so much! the only downside to this is that i’m never in it (since i’m not a canon character) but i still feel very connected to works depicting my friends and family :3 -tsunghan

fanart as well, along with interacting with my family in the headspace. being in a system sometimes feels like being uprooted from my original source, so most things i have here is something new that i built. but being able to see art of me with my friends and family is very grounding. -shadow
