K is big but clingy. you’re at your desk, halfway through answering emails, when the door opens. he doesn’t say anything—he just turns your chair around, climbs straight into your lap, and wraps himself around you like a giant koala. his long legs dangle off the sides, arms looped around your neck, face buried in your shoulder.

“mm i’m charging…” he mumbles, voice already sleepy.

every time you reach for your phone he lets out the most dramatic, wounded sigh until you give up and hug him back. within minutes he’s out cold, breathing slow and steady against your skin, completely content to stay right there for as long as you’ll let him.

FUMA strides in when you are folding laundry, he doesn’t say anything at first—he just tosses you over his shoulder with zero effort and drops you onto the mattress. you expect him to follow with something else, but instead he grabs his switch from the nightstand, climbs onto the bed, and pulls you so your back is flush against his chest.

he rests his chin on your shoulder, wraps one strong arm around your waist, and boots up pokémon with the other.

“i missed you,” he mumbles against your ear, voice low and soft. “you’ve been working too hard. let’s just stay like this for a while, yeah?”

he starts playing, occasionally turning his head to press a kiss to your cheek or temple whenever he catches something he likes. every now and then he tilts the screen toward you and quietly asks, “should i evolve this one?” his big frame completely surrounds you, warm and steady, while he plays.

EJ comes home when you're reading in bed. he changes into comfy clothes and joins you without disturbing your book. instead he gently lifts your shirt just enough to rest his cheek on your bare stomach, arms wrapping around your hips.

“don’t stop reading,” he says quietly, eyes already closing. every so often he turns his head to press a feather-light kiss to your skin, then settles again with a tiny contented sigh. the steady sound of your breathing and the warmth of your body is all he needs after a long day.

NICHOLAS doesn’t say a word. he just climbs onto the bed and carefully lays himself right on top of you, his full weight pressing you gently into the mattress. his chin rests on your shoulder, arms sliding underneath you so he can hold you from below.

“stay still,” he murmurs against your ear, voice low and a little sleepy. you can feel how tense he was earlier slowly melting away the longer he stays like this. every so often he turns his head to press a soft kiss to your cheek or the side of your neck. he doesn’t move for a long time—just breathes you in, completely content to have you trapped sweetly beneath him.

JO comes up behind you and rests his chin on the very top of your head, long arms sliding around your waist. he doesn’t say anything at first—just sways you both gently from side to side.

after a minute he mumbles, almost shyly, “you fit right here…” his hold tightens just a little, and you feel him smile against your hair. he stays like that until you’re both swaying in comfortable silence.

YUMA suddenly drops down, laying his head in your lap sideways whilst you’re sitting on the floor against the couch playing a game on your phone—his cheek squished against your thigh. 

he grabs your free hand and places it on his head. 

“pet me,” he demands cutely. you start running your fingers through his hair and within seconds he’s making actual little purring sounds, feet kicking happily behind him. every time your hand slows down he lets out a tiny whine and nuzzles closer, completely blissed out in your lap.

HARUA suddenly appears in front of you. he tilts his head cutely, puffs out his cheeks, and does a little aegyo pose with his hands near his face.

“harua’s been ignored for too long~” he whines in the sweetest voice, eyes sparkling with mischief.

the moment you cringe slightly and laugh but still reach for him, his whole expression changes. he doesn’t hesitate—he climbs straight into your lap, wraps his arms and legs around you like an octopus, and buries his face in your neck with a happy little noise. he stays glued to you after that, occasionally pulling back just enough to look at you with big shiny eyes before nuzzling right back in. every few minutes he presses a tiny kiss to your neck or jaw, refusing to let go even a little.

TAKI climbs up on the bed, you are laid back scrolling on your phone. he shifts himself so he’s on his stomach—head between your thighs.your brain short-circuits for a second—until he pulls out his switch and looks up at you with big, innocent eyes.

“squeeze?” he asks sweetly.

you laugh and gently press your thighs together around his head. he lets out the happiest little noise and starts his game, completely relaxed, occasionally reaching up to pat your knee like a thank-you. he stays there for over an hour, perfectly content in his favorite spot.

MAKI bursts into the room with energy, then immediately softens when he sees you scrolling on your phone in bed. he launches himself onto the mattress, lands with a soft bounce. immediately resting his head in your lap and wrapping his arms around your hips like he’s been waiting all day to do this.

he looks up at you with those big, sparkly eyes and smiles widely.

“hi baby,” he says, looking up at you with sparkly eyes.

he spends the next hour telling you every single thing that happened in his day whilst you play with his hair. every so often he pauses mid-story, lifts his head just enough to press a soft kiss to your wrist or the fabric over your stomach, then drops right back down and continues talking like nothing happened.

a/n: first time posting writing EVER... very nervous please be nice to me but more importantly enjoy i hope ygs like it!! (˶ ´ ᵕ ` ˶)

nicholas is not one to object, at least not when it comes to you–like saying no is never really an option he considers.

hence why you weren’t very surprised when he allowed you to do his makeup, determined to make it look the best you can.

your bedroom is quiet, the outside world asleep at this late hour. makeup bag already open on the ground between you.

nicholas lowers himself onto the edge of your bed, propping himself up on his hands behind him, watching you with that usual easy expression.

“you can’t distract me, okay?” you warn, rummaging through your makeup bag. “i want it to look nice.

“who, me? i would never.” he teases, yet you have no doubt he’d do exactly as you say.

the side of his mouth is ticked upwards into a half-smile. the amusement is quickly wiped off his face, however, as you climb onto his lap, straddling him.

his breath catches when you move your hips upward, knees at either side of his torso. 

“okay,” you say, squeezing a bottle of primer onto your hands. “dont move.”

when you meet his gaze, his irises are nearly completely black, swallowed by the dark of his pupils. “u-huh.”

gently, you spread the product onto his face, fingertips tracing each plane and shift of his profile.

up close like this, you notice everything.

the natural flush of his cheeks. the way his lashes lower slightly when you touch near his eyes. even the warmth of his skin beneath your hands.

unfair, honestly.

you’re supposed to be doing his makeup, yet you can’t help but get distracted by how little he needs it.

once you finish, you shift back a little to grab foundation. when you do, you catch a glimpse of his face, set with concentration, his eyes locked on you.

the way he’s restraining himself is laughable, yet somewhat sweet. your bedsheets fisted tightly in his hands, like he has to hold himself back. like he doesn’t wanna interfere with your work.

the thought draws a short laugh from you.

“what?” he blinks, bringing his hand to his face. “does it look bad already?” 

“hey! its not gonna look bad,” you rebut. “you just… look so focused.”

“oh.” he says nonchalantly, but you don’t miss the way he shifts his weight. or the way his voice catches when he says, “i just don’t wanna mess you up.”

climbing back onto his lap, you feel him stiffen. “relax,” you giggle, planting a small peck on his lips.

his eyes widen in the slightest, tip of his ears flushing as you dab an assortment of products on his face. he licks his lips like just a taste of you isn’t enough, like he craves even just a little more. yet he doesn’t reach out just yet.

as you work, it's like each movement has a direct effect on him. warmth building where your bodies meet. his breathing stutters when you shift against him. his body stiffening when your hips grind against his. 

it’s endearing. nearly addictive.

you reach for the mascara which is already by your side. “look up for me,” you instruct.

he obeys immediately.

your lips twitch.

“wow,” you muse, shifting forward. closer. “so well-behaved.”

his mouth twists as he clears his throat. grip tightening around the sheets, heat radiating off of his body.

it’s odd to see him so subdued. the usually teasing, charismatic nicholas flushing at nothing but the weight of you on his lap like he’s intoxicated. waiting for you to allow him but another sip.

when you lean back to inspect your work, his hands settle on your waist. his eyes instantly dropping to your lips, half-lidded.

his gaze is laced with hunger. you tease, “what’s wrong?”

“you’re doing this on purpose.”

you bring your fingers to his chin, tilting his face up just enough to meet your eyes. “doing what?” you say innocently, yet you lean closer. your faces just inches apart.

the tension in him rises visibly. his jaw tightens. eyes fixed on your mouth like restraint is becoming physically painful. yet you back away, reaching for a nice lippie to finish off the look.

he clicks his tongue at the loss of you, shaking his head. even the tiny bit of space between you makes his expression tighten.

you take his chin in your fingers again, applying the soft pop of red to his lips. as he licks them, he asks “what flavor is this?” 

he continues while you set down the product, “it’s sweet.”

“ah i can’t recall,” your own voice pitching ever so slightly deeper as you lean in. you throw your hands behind his head, arms resting on his shoulders. 

his gaze darkens, your faces yet again just a breath away. you whisper, “lets find out?” 

you press your lips to his and your body melts against him as if it's been waiting as long as he has. his eyelids flutter shut, taking your face in his hand.

“fuck,” he murmurs into your mouth. “finally.”

you can’t help but smile against his lips, a laugh escaping you. he hums while his free hand tightens around your waist. 

you deepen the kiss, pressing closer until there’s barely any space left between you. up against him you can feel everything, the heavy beating of his heart, the urgency in the drag of his hand along your side. you taste the sweetness on his lips and it reminds you of what you were doing in the first place.

you pull away. “cherry.”

“what?” nicholas’ eyebrows knit together. his breathing heavy and uneven.

“the lipgloss.” you answer, putting your hand on his chest as you stand up. “it’s cherry flavored.”

he catches your wrist before you can fully pull away.

“c’mere,” he mutters.

“nicholas–” you object through giggles as he pulls you back. “i’m not done.”

“the makeup looks great,” he says against your lips. “now stop talking.”

music blasted through the bustling streets of Taipei. crowds cluttered the tight alleyways. every corner filled with groups of messy, drunk college students. rows of bars and clubs falling in a perfect parallel heaven, just what you needed for the night.

you tagged along with a few friends for the night —nothing outrageous, no intention of picking up on a “one-night thing”—phone wasn’t accepting any new numbers, just the same group chat that pinged 400 times a day.

you threw on a lazy, tight tank top and a loose pair of baggy jeans, the kind that barely sit around your hips, the tank top leaving a peak of visible midriff skin. your bag rested over your shoulder, pressed uncomfortably deep into the skin, keychains jingling behind you with every step, announcing your arrival.

you wandered around the streets aimlessly for what felt like eternity. your eyes blurred the directions until all that was left was your intuition. feet stumbling around until you finally led you to an oddly quiet bar, no large groups of people covering the dance floor, unlike the packed clubs where music trickled through the thin walls. the music was low, not a slow tempo, but a volume that was far more hushed compared to neighboring areas.

the lights emitted a serious red, cramming every inch of the dance floor, just hardly hitting the tables—where your sights met your friends' silhouettes.

your feet brought you first, body moving just behind the hasty pace you prance at, bag charms chiming— the melody catching up to your friends’ familiar ears, their heads turn— all but one.

nicholas’s back faces you, a broad length that engulfed most of your vision. his hands planted on opposing ends of the table, slumped over the pile of empty shot glasses, napkins, and plates.

your chest hit his back, arms wrapping around his wide abdomen, fingers fisting into the delicate black fabric of his shirt. he reeked of alcohol, a bitter mix of everything you could think of— no clear notes of what wasn’t drunken, it clung to him like an intoxicating fragrance. he flinch forward, legs unsteady, his lips froze, parted, mid-sentence. letting your arms slowly untangle free around him. you peaked over his slouched shoulders. his hiccups hit against you, a thick waft of bitter-sweet soju followed his breath. his hair was messy, sunglasses covered his weary eyes, t-shirt was slightly stained and wrinkled. he turned to you, hindered and sluggish, lazy moves with his unsteady state. the table turned to you, pausing their conversations. their eyes all gave a knowing look, telling a collective story… or warning. the group seemed mostly sober— an occasional shot or two shared between, but nobody was as clearly wasted as nicholas. he was a light weight— surely he wasn't too deep into the night, but the effect were catching up faster than he could run.

you tried to comfort him, take him out of the bar— but he refused. he clung to you like a signature scent. resting his throbbing, dizzy head against your shoulder. his words slurred, mumbling against your ear. you nod along, trying to juggle every ongoing conversation, along with the whiny, clingy kitten hanging onto your side. “why aren’t you listening to me~?” he paw at your tank top— tugging the fabric, fingers holding the small drift of bare skin. his pout carries the tone, nuzzling deeper into the crook of your neck. with every word, he stutters deeper into your plush skin. hands ghost your waist, moving to pull the sunglasses off— as if they worked overtime to block out the absent sun of midnight, tightening them back into his hair, pinning his short black hair.

he leaned down on his chair, face lit by the dim lights, legs spread ever so slightly, boxers peaking from his shirt that raised with every lengthy stretch. soft whimpers escaped his dried lips involuntarily. he nudged you again, burying his cheek against your shoulder. “come on, don’t ignore me~….” he whined, big glossy eyes staring up at you, sharp, yet carryinga weak, admiring gaze. his lips pout narrowly, cheeks rinsed a deep pink, circulating across his face— seeping like ink into his neck. a silver chrome hearts necklace drooping on top of his shirt, catching the deep red lighting. the top of his hair tickling your neck— your heart pounds through your chest, deafening you just enough where every conversation mixed into a single head throb. loud enough to where you swore someone could hear it, swore somebody could see the way your hands shook, the way your body stuttered with every move. hesitant, nervous, reaching for items to busy your brain from his intensely close presence. feeling the heat of him radiate onto you, warming your cold arms. “yixiang— stoppp your practically drooling all over me.” you nudge his shoulder, scarcely jerking him back until the ghost of him still hugs you. feeling the heavy heart pounding, weight lifted off of you, letting your dizzied head spin one last time. he looked back at you, a small bit of damage covered his face— his sensitive form melting your love-drunk heart. his once devilish, flirty smile now replaced by a small, gentle pout.

the night carried on, laughing, shouting, and small friendly bickering between the group. all but for nicholas, he sat in his chair, arms crossed, falling into the deep cushion and hardwood with every passing second. his cheeks slowly lowered the intensity of their color, now only coated by a small, gentle pinkish-red that scatter from his cheeks over his nose. he huffed every occasional comment, scoffing at the stupid jokes being exchanged. all until he tugged onto your side one last time.

you stood above him, head already thrown back, about to down the putrid, small glass of liquor. your hair tickling your neck, tank top sticking to your skin— the sudden gesture broke your behavior, freezing, feeling his hands wrap against your waist in a familiar way— too handsy for your friendship. he stared up at you, hands shifting down to your hips— eyes pleading, twinkling beneath you. your eyes meet— no, they lock. fixed on his sharp eyes, the way they ease when looking at you.

the countless times he stared at you with nothing but pure affection, all while you were too blind to notice. lost in the gut wrenching feeling that hit with every thought of him. too scared to face your own burning bad desires.

his eyes darkening, carrying a subtle hint of light that you couldn’t distinguish. his eyes dart between you and the small glass, shirt barely hitting his lower stomach, legs bouncing anxiously. his hair was slightly messy, only pinned by sunglasses to hide just how much of a drunk mess he was. he hiccuped words, barely letting comments go without slurring them together.

he gulped, watching his adam’s apple bob before his lips parted, a thick, smushed sentence of mandarin and english, he fell forward onto you, head sink against your abdomen. you felt the cold frames press to your bare skin, his fingers toy with your tank top, then he lifted his head, slow and steady, thoughts reconnected to make one simple sentence. “can you pour that for me…” his eyes shot to your glass, hands tightening around you, fingers dinging into your skin.

and so you did.

you bent to him, his eyes stared up at you, never once cowering from your sight. he unhurriedly inched off the chair, falling barely to his knees before you. you stare down at him, the weak yet pathetic way he seated before you. his earring snags the dim lights, glowing just barely. sunglasses pushed back his silky black hair, his cheeks' shade grew more harsh, a deep, almost reddened hue. he tilted his head back, eyes wet, a strong, sparked gaze. the over head light reflected in his black orbs, and a thin layer of sweat blanketed his neck. his lips parted, and in an instant, it all happened.

your hand guiding his chin up ever so lightly, a gentle hold on his soft skin. you shove the cruel glass to his dusky rose lips, waiting for his small nod of approval before tilting it back, his head falling back with the glass. the thin liquid pouring down his lips to his chin, layering to his throat. leaving a slick trail over his pale skin. he watches you, a deep thirst lingering before the bitter alcohol. the way he became so small under you, following your every move like an unbreakable order. his lips pressed tightly, the liquid dribbling down as he hesitantly swallowed, his brows furrowing, glossy eyes breaking connection with you. your soft hand gently smacking his cheek. he squeezes his eyes gently, lips slick, a whimper ripping from his throat. his head hurried down to his chest, until it met with you again— a shaky and weak “mm… thank you~” followed his deep, raspy voice.

it continued for the night, he begged you to keep feeding him the shots, kneeling before you like a statue. even if he was about to black out, he swore it was his last.

sticking onto you, whining in your ear, to even gently pressing his lips to your neck— anything to get your attention. his behaved lips faltered, just for a second, sucking on your skin. other hand pressing you deeper into him. all while the thick, heavy scent of alcohol sat with you.

sunday mornings were always your designated lazy hours. staying inside, pyjamas on, wrapped up in blankets on your bed. 

so it only made sense that you insisted on dragging maki back to bed after cooking breakfast. the scene was too cute not to evoke your clinginess - maki stood at the stove, apron slung over his shirtless torso and sleep shorts, flipping the eggs carefully in the pan. it was so domestic. your heart was full of warmth as you ate breakfast, his hand resting on your thigh.

“was that good? you want anything else?” maki asked, mouth full of egg. you shook your head, taking your empty plate and dumping it in the sink. the dishes could wait until later.

once maki was done, your hand slid into his, and you began tugging him back to the bedroom.

“where are we going, hm?”

“to bed. i wanna cuddle.” you answered, a pout visible on your lips. maki chuckled, finding your insistence endearing.

“you’re too cute, angel. alright, let’s go.”

once back in bed, maki’s arm wrapped around you, pulling you into his chest. with your legs tangled, skin pressed against skin, you were right where you wanted to be.

“maki, i love you so much,” you whispered, your eyes opening to look up at him. “you always make me feel so loved. i’m grateful to have you.”

you watched as maki’s face heated up, a soft pink tint dusting his cheeks and ears.

“i love you too, baby. where’s this coming from?”

i was just thinking about us. our relationship. from the start until now.”

“well, i hope they’re good thoughts, angel.” maki replied, kissing your forehead.

“yeah, of course.” you giggled. “i was thinking back to when we first met. how hopelessly in love i was after five minutes of talking to you at school. and how pathetically obvious i was about having a crush on you.”

“i remember that. yuma’s teasing didn’t help your case, to be honest.” maki added, a sly grin appearing on his face. you digged your hand into his side playfully, earning a groan from maki.

“don’t remind me. it was awful.” you sighed, maki’s lips pressing to your neck as you continued.  “it felt magical to have a crush on you, y’know? it felt so easy. you were so sweet to me all the time. i was always giddy around you.”

as you spoke, maki quietly kissed along your jaw and neck, kisses pressed light enough as to not disrupt your romantic tangent. he was entranced by your voice, your heartfelt words. by you. and his kisses were what portrayed these feelings.

“oh, i remember how pathetic i must’ve sounded to my friends. i was always ranting about you, our conversations, whenever you accidentally touched my hand.” you admitted, maki’s lips still attached to your throat. “i was obsessed with you.”

as your ranting came to an end, you glanced down at maki, whose face was buried in the crook of your neck. he looked up at you for a brief second, but you still caught it. he was blushing.

“maki? wow, is my baby shy?”

“wait-” he mumbled, trying to hide his face even more. the poor guy was so flustered. “stop… stop being so nice, it’s killing me.”

as you’re about to say something in return, maki’s hand flew to your mouth, cutting off your words.

“seriously, it is making me shy.” he chuckled. you pulled his hand from your mouth.

“can’t i tell my boyfriend how much i love him?” you teased, and maki buried his face back into your neck out of sheepishness. “i love you so much, you already know that.”

“i love you too, angel. even when you tease me on purpose.”
