People seem to mostly be disappointed that they are reusing dr1 and 2 voices actors. Kaede’s might also be Kirigiri’s, along with Gonta/Hagakure and Ouma/Naegi/Komaeda.
I can’t say I’ve heard any of that (I’m just referring to stuff I've seen on my dash despite unfollowing everyone I thought was posting too much dvr3 and at risk of spoiling me), all I’ve been seeing is a bunch of posts complaining about Ouma (and Bryce Papenbrock) specifically, plus a few complaining about Gonta’s speech patterns (Not even his VA, just his referring to himself as ‘Gonta’). While it’s a bit of a shame if they are reusing several voice actors, I'd assume that they’re doing so because it’s easier to go with trusted VAs for the game than find and hire news ones. Re-used VAs aren’t something I particularly notice to be honest (for instance I couldn’t have told you Nagito and Makoto were the same VA. I certainly can’t here anything similar between Gonta and Hagakure.) I was mostly just annoyed that we’ve had about one line of dialogue from each character and everyone’s already getting super negative about it. As someone who had to play Virtue’s Last Reward with the Japanese VAs because the European localisers didn’t want to pay the US localisation team for the rights tot he English voices, I’m just glad we get competent English voice acting at all!
