pokemon trainersona facts (tm) for fun
Was born and raised on the same continent Unova is located. Distant Kalosian ancestry; mother's family speaks Kalosian creole but not much has been passed down.
Ace partner is a special Poison type Alolan Raichu. Currently unsure exactly how that happened.
Wanted to be a Hex Maniac when growing up and hung around a lot of them, but never ended up actually going through with it because Ghost Pokemon just don't seem to get along with them…
Moved to Kalos to persue dream of opening a bakery/patisserie. Currently resides in Laverre City and commutes to work in Lumiose as an employee in someone else's cafe.
Extremely fascinated by all types of history and myth, and now that they're in Kalos, the legendary Kalosian Pokemon are their special interest. They frequent forums and other online hubs to both learn and discuss what they know.
Hilariously, it was through one of these historical forums that they met Lysandre, though he wasn't open about being THE Lysandre, naturally. They bonded over research into the legendaries as well as a deep care for the future of the world and love of cafes and fashion on top of that.
Unfortunately ended up being the one to help narrow down the location of the legendaries out of sheer delight in solving mysteries. May have accidentally given Lysandre the idea about using the legendaries to awaken the ultimate weapon to begin with as a result of many tangents about the mystery of the ancient weapon.
Lysandre has not told them this.
Lysandre offered to pay for opening their patisserie. Still a bit shocked by it tbh. Probably gonna say yes in the near future though.
Upon hearing that they're struggling with an absolute barrage of illnesses both physical and mental, Lysandre has paid for a variety of treatments and medical aids and have them sent to a discreet pick-up location for both of their privacy. They're starting to get suspicious about who could possibly afford this.
They like to share their pie-in-the-sky fantasy costume designs with him. Lysandre has commssioned some designs from them, but they're pretty sure he's just flattering them with no intention of actually having them made.
(He's having them made.)
Guns and roses or something like that. Thank you Toby Fox for all your blue and yellow couples
isn't that right, raly?
pros of this job: a slow day at work means i can just kinda fuck around for a while without stressing too much about being professional
cons: unsure of when i will have to snap back into professional mode because it is slow
how it feels to challenge yourself to an exceptionally difficult drawing and it turns out fucking awesome

You can make a movie with where the only white character is a man named Ray Cism whose one line of his 16 seconds of screen time is “I seriously hate women and minorities.” and you’ll find fifty bajillion reader x Ray Cism fanfics and renaissance style drawings of him with a halo of golden light
This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but here it goes anyways. A lot of you are making up people to be mad at.
Let's take sinners for example. There is a white guy with like 2 lines exclusively about hating minorities in this movie. His name is not Ray, it's Bert (I had to look that up on imdb), he is the kkk-vampire and not a single person on earth is writing self-insert fic about this guy. They are writing self-insert fic about the central antagonist, who is also a vampire. Girls like villains, what else is new.
And sure, maybe I am being to literal here, but yelling at people that they are liking a thing in the wrong way is just the fastest way to kill a fandom. The underlying things this post is pointing at are real and they do exist. Societal beauty standards center white people, a lot of (white) people have are harder time sympathising with people of color. But those things are not fandom problems. They are just general problems of living in white supremacist society and they show up in all facets of or society including fandom. But you are not gonna fix them by telling people they are somehow bad for liking the sexy vampire.
I really liked Sinners. But if I look at the top text posts for example 4 out of 10 are wank about how people are problematic or racist for the way they like the movie. And to be completely honest, I think that this atmosphere is also a huge factor in why Sinners fandom is not a big as it could be. Which is really fucking sad.
Where am I yelling about “ppl liking things the wrong way”?
Am I “making up a guy to be mad at” if by your own admission you are a fan of a character that fits the hypothetical scenario that I described in the original post? That you brought up, because I didn’t bring up Sinners (2025).
You admit that societal beauty standards favor white people (an odd thing to bring up), and in turn white people have a harder time sympathizing with people of color (a poor excuse for racism), and yet you think this doesn’t factor into fandom? You think white ppl, from the society that you acknowledge has racist biases, will somehow leave those same prejudices when engaging in fandom? You think that the “real world” is a completely separate vacuum from the art that leads to fandom?
“Girls like villains” a very strange, pointedly projective, and dismissive of the main point of the post: racism. You think women of color like racist villains? Or is it just white women? Because that’s what we’re talking about here: racist characters, specifically. With this line of thinking, you put forth that either the women in a fandom, Sinners (2025) by your example, a predominantly Black led piece of media which centers Black women as they’re integral to the story, should categorically like the “sexy vampire” despite the fact that he’s terrorizing Black people throughout the movie just because he’s the villain. Or you put forth that there are no women of color in the Sinners fandom, which would be an odd thing to think given the previous points.
You think that pointing out racism is “killing a fandom” as it brings up things you don’t want to think about, as is described by the original post, that hyperfixating on a racist white character in a piece of media is a reoccurring thing, and that when a Black person (me) or any other person of color points that out; you feel attacked which is clear from your long block of text you’ve added. You need to think about why you feel the need to go on the defensive for a fictional character that represents assimilation and entitlement to Black bodies (a fairly obvious reading of Remmick) and why it’s okay to like him above the rest of the Black cast.
In summary:
his pride and joy
a neutral reminder that while being a hater can be a fun indulgence you can never find long term happiness by spending your time constantly hating on things and you can’t make long term friends if the only thing you have in common is something you both dislike; you need to love and be passionate about things. being petty gets old. you need to be a lover too
designing my own uh... designs... for the flowers is really fun actually
