❝Well, that didn’t go the way I expected it to go.❞ Dabi watches the group of men scamper away from him, their clothes in flames and their arms flailing in the air. He redirects his eyes back to the kid who had just been previously harassed by the thugs who are now screaming and rolling down the pavement in an attempt to kill the flames.
❝At least nobody important died.❞ The villain adds as though to soften the impact of the situation at hand. He didn’t do it to save the kid. He was just itching to burn someone and this had just conveniently fallen into his clutches.
