" only for you i am thankful that i am next to you. you're the only one, babe. you taught me love in this harsh world i am happy with you alone. " // @illusry
> zeeeeeen > can you turn on the fan? it's hot.
she's right next to him, but she doesn't want to interrupt whatever he is doing on his phone. so texting it was. // @illusry
min jee had been through this a couple of times, these repeating days that never seemed to end. though, they usually ended pretty mundanely, nothing too drastic, but... that last time... even now, as she laid in bed, she couldn't bring herself to get up. the only thing on her mind was the image from the last reset-- for a lack of a better word. zen's lifeless eyes, his empty voice, the boy who once used acting as a way to express himself was forced to act forever as the prince of some twisted paradise. what hurt worse was the pain he seemed to be in everytime he had looked at her... it made her sick to her stomach.
after a while of mindlessly staring at her ceiling, she finally turned her head to look at the date. so... it was eight days before the party. it seemed like fate dropped her past the awkward first meeting ( well, for them. for her, she had met them many times ). finally getting the will to look at her phone, the first name on there made her stomach sink. zen. zen messaged her. normally, that would bring her so much joy, but it only made her remember the brainwashed, hurting zombie all over again. her legs moved on their own, getting out of bed and slipping her shoes on. she had become rather impulsive, hadn't she? the only thing on her mind was seeing zen, seeing him okay. she needed to see his smile, his kind, life-filled eyes, and his enthusiastic voice. it didn't even occur to her that he might not realize who it was.
she sprinted to his home as fast as she could, still with her bedhead and pajamas on. she didn't care. she had to see him. she had to see him okay in person so this image would cease haunting her. the moment she reached his door, she did not hesitate to knock...and knock again. she probably looked like some crazed fan when he opened the door. her hair was a mess, she was sweaty, and she hadn't even caught her breath from running here so fast. her body wouldn't move for a moment when she saw him. her eyes began watering as she heard him speak up and her arms quickly found themselves wrapping around him.
" y-you're okay-- thank god... " she hadn't meant to say that out loud, though in her rather pathetic state, it was no wonder it slipped out. // @illusry
of course, she answered the phone as fast as she could when she saw his name pop up. he sounded alright... that was a relief. really... sometimes she couldn't tell the difference between reality and a nightmare. the image of zen hurt from a motorcycle accident still lingered in her head. she took a deep breath, trying to sound normal.
" i... i'm fine. sorry for bothering you, it was just a dream. " // @illusry x
