Illumat Selection

I have new tiny pictures from out of our box.

We had so many actions in the last month with our illustration machine all over Germany and sometimes in other european countries too. Every picture is based on the peoples wishes, they are entirely imaginative and created within a 10 minutes time frame. I hope they will bring you some happiness. :)

A New Year A New Blog.

The majority of 2012 brought a lot of good stuff...But I didn't really talk about it. So this is what's going to happen. I have deleted my old blog and I am starting anew with this bad boy. I am going to talk projects, films, music and feelings (though not so much), oh, you can also expect Fassbender. So what has January bring?

Illustration Machine | 21st Birthday Plans | Gangster Squad | Les Misérables | Reservoir Dogs | Django Unchained | Texas Chainsaw 3D| Anger.

First things first, what is Illustration Machine?

The Illustration Machine is a collaborative team of writers, artists, storytellers, imaginations, mothers, students, freelancers, travellers and creative minds of all sorts.

What have I done so far and what am I doing? So far I have copy fitted a children's story called "The Cash Point Kid" and have produced a sleeve for the book. I am currently producing a book layout for a child's book called "Our Cat" and have been invited to illustrate another manuscript. I am going to draw up a couple of designs and see if the author likes my style.

21st Birthday Plans - What? Already? Yes already!  It's going to be a small affair in London filled with fun things - this takes planning. Hotel is booked and most of it's planned. Plans include The David Bowie Exhibition at the V&A, Planet Hollywood, Camden Market, Alice In Wonderland Tea party, Madame Tussauds, Theater/Cinema and The Sherlock Holmes Museum on Baker Street.

Gangster Squad Man! People are being too harsh on this film! There's only so much you can do with a story that's based on truth. It's a wonderful thing. Even if you don't enjoy it - at least appreciate the acting christ!

Les Misérables

Am I the only one that didn't cry at this? Seriously? I never want to see it again. Nearly 3 hours of pure depression with about a 10 minutes let-up in the middle where Helena Bonham-Carter plays Mrs.Lovett - I mean, Madame Thénardier.

Reservoir Dogs

To say that seeing one of my favourite cult classics on the big screen was a treat would be an understatement. It was fantastic and great to have the opportunity to see it now I'm of age - lol ! Why was it on? Because 20 years of Tarantino needs celebrating!

Django Unchained

Fantastic - what more can I say? If you haven't seen it - see it. (Still not as good as Inglourious Basterds or Reservoir Dogs though).

Texas Chainsaw 3D

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but then again, I haven't seen the other ones so have nothing to compare it to. I'll let you know the verdict.

And finally the anger. We don't talk about that.

So yes, I think I have spent the majority of January at the cinema. It's a shame that no matter how many times I apply or go in and ask I can't get a job there - maybe one day...
