Just let me at this film already.
How do you know if you're unhappy?
Being away from things for a few days gives you a whole new perspective on life. It can be tough and scary but you come back feeling invincible. There is no such thing as a perfect couple. I often wonder if I'd be happier if I was skinny but I doubt it. I thought I knew what I wanted from life - but I don't. Sometimes, just sometimes, I wonder if I was meant to go through life on my own because it certainly seems that way.
The 30 year old multi-Bafta award-winning stand up and platinum-selling R&B artist Alex Horne is back with an hour of observations, impressions and lies. Best known for mindblowing Powerpoint or live music, this show has neither; just Alex, a panda, some jokes and some lies. Although one of those may also be a lie. Or a joke. Either way, it’ll be funny. Honest. “A beguiling blend of the smart and the stupid. . . a real delight” The Sunday Times
Where's your heart?
Today I did a 15 minutes CPR course. The guy asked me 'Where is your heart?' Before I had chance to answer he said 'Don't say on your sleeve!' 'No,' I said. 'It's in my boots.'
Yea. This man.
Great advice to writers.

Why do my blog posts always start like this?
So, haven't been here for a while. Yea, that killer line again, here comes the list of what I've done and am going to do. Here's the things I've done :- -21st birthday, man, it was awesome! -Met Corey Taylor- again, the guy is such a babe! He most definitely has a space in my heart. -Went to see World War Z in 3D and got scared. My respect for Brad Pitt has increased a vast amount over the past few years since Inglourious Basterds. I said respect, I still don't fancy him. Every time I've previously posted about being angry. Yeah. I had every right to be angry. And am again, angry. Less of that so things I've got planned in the next month :- -The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park -Mr.Important's birthday -Aerosmith Japan Concert from 2011 shown for the first time at cinema. -A wine tasting for work and then to Shaun of the Dead/ Hot Fuzz/ The Worlds End which goes on til 2:30am in the morning -.- -The Lone Ranger premiere. Yes. Busy month ahead.
I WANT TO BELIEVE.
This guy is awesome

So then. . .
London was amazing. I want to write because I want to vent but I am unsure what to say other than I will never see YOU in the same way again. You can hold on and remember things all you like but move on and keep your emotional junk out of my life you two-faced creature.
Someone just get me dat Fass. Thanks.
LMAO
Whenever my friend says goodnight to me on Skype he sends me this gif
and I wanted to send it to him tonight so I went to Google “black man turning off lamp” but Google autofill changed it to “black man turning into jet” and I got this
Long story short it’s 1am and I’ve been laughing at this for approximately 20 years
Re-emerging from what seems to have been a long submerge...
Hey !
So, I know I say this every time, it's been a while. What have I done? Well I got a pretty awesome apprenticeship. So that's been taking up most of my time. No, I am not complaining, I would much rather be rushed off my feet than sat at home watching JK on the dole. Working only 4 days is amazing - it means that I can still volunteer at Animal Lifeline on a Friday - YAY! I have finally made the changes to my novel 'Broken', not any dramatic changes, just re-wording things to sound more sarcastic - oh wait, that wasn't intentional, it just happens. I FINALLY produced that book layout for Millie's Sweet Dreams, coming soon from The Illustration Machine.
My 21st is rapidly approaching - I AM SO EXCITED. Need to do some designing regarding that! Saw Evil Dead when it came out. Seriously guys, why didn't you just leave the original alone. There was no need for this remake. Saw The Fratellis and have booked tickets for Bruno Mars, Rolling Stones, Shinedown and Black Sabbath (because lets face it, Ozzy isn't going to solo tour over here).
So if a decent film premiere would like to hurry up - that would be just great! Btw totally not sold on the whole Michael Fassbender / Natalie Portman / MacBeth idea. I DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN. Also, Happy Birthday Saul Bass, I hope you're making beautiful things up there.
So, yeah, what's new with you?

So...
So, it's been a while, but I have a good reason this time. I have actually been busy. I have got myself a job doing PR. It's pretty great because I get used for my graphics too.
I last went to see Stoker at the cinema and loved it. I have so much time for Mia Wasikowska - if only I bloody well looked like her eh? I can dream. There are 2 things I really need to get done :-
- A childs book layout for The Illustration Machine (I've done most of it don't worry!) - Refining my own novel and getting it sent off. I have been told that all authors are scared of what their readers might think, it's a good job really because I am bricking it.
Speaking of authors, Joe Hill will be doing a book signing in Manchester in May. So I plan to journey to meet him. I know he's promoting his new book but I hope to god he'll sign my copy of Heart Shaped Box (seriously, if you haven't read it you really should, it's my favourite book of all time). I would treasure it more than I already do. Next week I get to see my bestie, which will be great because I have something for him that he is going to LOVE.
Oh yeah, Shinedown are coming back to the UK in October \m/>.<\m/
